The Simple Workout You’re NOT Doing

Ойын-сауық

Here are three ways that anyone can use a set of stairs and get an incredible workout.
OPTION ONE 00:56
OPTION TWO 01:15
OPTION THREE 01:40
NO STAIRS/NO WEIGHTS OPTION 02:13
Honestly you can do whatever burpee variation you like, just as long as it’s challenging for you.
I drew inspiration from ‪@Emevas‬ 01:59 for this video idea and workout. Jared’s channel is an absolute goldmine for incredible workouts. Each workout can easily be tailored to fit anyone’s fitness ability.

Great stuff ! , I've only just started to use some weights and dumbells on my workout routine for squats lunges and the like . But from my physio days I've always used stairs in my home strength routine . The two I use are step ups on my 2nd and 3rd stair , this is to add strength and cause they are one legged it helps get equal strength in both legs . The other exercise I do is a jump up to my 1st and 2nd stair, and jump back , I guess they would be called box jumps 😅 they definitely get the heart ❤ pumping . Carrying stuff up and down the steps looks a great idea I will give that a go 👌 cheers

Hey what’s up man👊. I really appreciate you taking a few minutes to watch and then leave such a great comment. I think your step up idea is a good one. I’ll definitely give that a try. My knees are wonky so I’m gonna stay away from to much jumping haha. At 44, I’m playing the long game with fitness. If you’re up for it, let me know how you find the stairs walks with the weights. Have a good one brother!

@@DavidWhittenthanks ,im 52 and my dodgy knees get a bit nervous with weights 😬 😅 been trying the weights this week for squats and stuff but think I might not use weights for my Step Ups at moment as one knee is a bit weak. But yes definitely adding the up down stairs along with a few burpees all in one rep ! that will be a really good one I reckons 💪cheers 🍻

Stairs...YES! I have been the biggest advocate of stairs for sooo many years. One thing though..take 2 at a time!! The trick is to not just do the stairs once. Whilst carrying the kettlebells, do 10 ups and 10 downs of the stairs [two at a time] and then move to the burpees for a similar time it takes for the stairs. Just going up once I always felt didn't quite hit the mark enough...Great advice and session though!

I knew you’d like this Duncan😁! You make some good points about taking the steps two at a time, as well as multiple trips in a row. There are SO many ways to structure this type of workout hey. And I did 2 at a time during the actual workout but I edited it out, as I wanted to keep the vid as short as possible. With the vest and the KBs, 2 at a time was absolutely killer👌. I’m so glad you liked it though Duncan! The stairs are here to stay👍.
