By living in the present moment everyday without judging what happens or trying to control the outcome, allows one to enter a pure state of awareness and acceptance of what is. And therefore, one can live happily everyday with contentment of each passing moment in their life. Thank you for anchoring me into this spiritual way of being, Eckhart.🙏

Anchoring is such a powerful word/state of being. I’ve listened to Elkhart Tolle since 2007. It takes so much practice and awareness. It does seem so much easier then previously but I still can’t claim anchored. What an incredible achievement that is. Even if it is just Now. ❤ so much love and appreciation

@@gigicoogler Thank you. It does take practice and sheer will to want to become one with everything. First step is to become acutely aware of the voice in the head and realize that it's not our real voice or who we truly are. When one gains control over the flow of thoughts passing through the mind, then one easily recognizes the constant blabbering of the ego when it arises, and therefore, one is able to instantly silence it or shut out it's flow and remain in they're anchored state of spiritual being. Blessings sister.🙏

@@nurarondic3686 Good question, but unfortunately I cannot answer it. I imagine it's the same as asking me if a person in a coma is in a state of bliss or in a state of suffering? Only the person in that particular situation knows the real answer. Wherefore, there are people with what we call, normal brain functions, and there are other people with different brain functions. Yet all that people with normal brain functions can do is just observe and try to understand the other people's situations?🤔

My mother loved nature very much and had collected many old and big fallen tree branches during her occasional walks in the mountains. She is now in the Elsewhere and I am fixing up her house . I refused to throw away these wonderful big branches and I cleaned them all up and painted them and used them as beautiful natural sculptures. ❤ Trees have always given me the feeling of being at home, that home which, as E. Tolle wonderfully says, "is rooted in our being"❤. SO grateful 💓🙏✨✨✨

Does anybody else feel that there's something more to this man than just a wise spiritual teacher? I am once again in tears of joy, but yet also sadness for the state of humanity, after hearing Eckhart's words. His humility and detachment from ego would never let him say this, so I will say it for him: "I truly believe that this man is Divine. He is not just a wise man, there is something more, and I think the whole world needs to know this. Does anyone else agree and what can we do to make this happen?" I started reading/listening to Eckhart in 2019. His words have pulled me back from suicidal ideation that I've had for 40+ years, and led me to additional spiritual study. He saved my life! This man is more than just a Saint or Angel. I know most people will think I'm being too extreme, but I'm 54 years old and have never experienced these feelings for any other person. So much love for this man. Thank you Eckhart.

A man who is really wise is not a man, but a presence and pure consciousness expressing through a form. So in that sense, there is no "wise man". You have used words like Saint and Angel and Divine and only you know what these terms mean. Essentially if the form is shed, then what comes out of it is divine. As Eckhart himself has said "Stillness speaks". Most people on this channel would not feel you are 'too extreme'. You are meeting yourself and that is bringing tears to your eyes. Good luck and prayers!

yes, i would say there is a power working thru Tolle, a strength that is inseparable from peace derived from surrendering to the truth of what really is, the more complete the surrender, the deeper and more rooted is the peace and this purity alone can withstand the divine current, these ones return to bring us home, becuz in many lives they were just as lost as we have been & when they were helped home they were so grateful to be free again that it hurts them to know that others are still lost and suffering, hence their return, in service.. & i would say that you're right, that he knows his power comes from God, the Divine, and would never try to claim it as something anyone could claim or call their own.. like that Neil Young song, love is a rose, "love is a rose but u better not pick it it only grows when it's on the vine hand full of thorns & you"ll know you've missed it lose ur love when u say the word mine.. love is a rose.."

When Eckhart speaks of people having a distant "memory" of a time of presence or consciousness, I am reminded of the first peoples around the world, in North America, Australia, on every continent who can sense consciousness in every rock or tree. I suspect that these ancient first peoples gained insight to their world through presence and learned to work with nature to preserve the balance of life. Perhaps we should listen more to them when facing climate or other ecological challenges.

Hey there Giovanni, sending you the best of wishes. It may be very difficult at times, but try accepting whatever you're feeling without judging it as bad. When we judge the feeling as bad, we try to get away from it, making it more serious, and a task, which just adds more disturbance. It can be very difficult at times, but try accepting what you're feeling in the moment. Take it more lightly. Sometimes the solution can be quite simple, and only by allowing some space are we able to access that, not by trying more rigorously. Hope this helps. Best wishes to you. ❤

It does come and go. Very often people lose that sense of serenity. I had an awakening about thirty years ago, then got lost in the world again for a long time. We are called back to peace, and it will be ok. Accept that it is. If we fight against the thoughts they strengthen. We cannot fix the problem with the same mind that created the problem. We must go above it. Eckhart talks about the vertical dimension. Be an observer. The light will take care of you, because you are already IT. We just forget who we are sometimes. Much peace to you. It’s good you reached out. 🙏🏻🕉️

19:35 The ability to think is not a mistake. It is a step forward in human civilisation. But it is a heavy price to pay in the world of polarity. Your entire sense of who you are is bound up in thinking. Thinking and language happened at the same time. Voice in the head appeared / God talking. The Gold Age was connectedness with Being. Nature still has that. Humans are disconnected. 🦆🦆🦋🦋🦋🦆🦆🦆🌹🌹🌹🌹 24:04 Home is related to the AUM sound. The deepest meaning of home is rooted in the being of yourself. Thanks Eckhart. 17 January 2024.💖💖💖💖🦆🦆🦆🌻🌻🌻🌻🌹🌹🌹🌹

Amen, Jesus I praise you please take away my fears. Heavenly Father, I come to you asking for your blessings as a single mom. My husband passed years ago. I’m raising my children with strength and courage, despite the challenges I face with my sons both are special needs. Lord as I struggle to pay my rent every month and as I struggle to buy groceries for my children. I ask that you bless me with your wisdom and guidance, as I navigate parenthood on my own heal me Lord from lupus and heart disease and continue to give me strength to keep going so I may watch my sons grow into men.❤❤

Interesting with your theory of "home" being related to "aum", I've thought that "I am" is related to "A UM". When done in a chant/mantra with a long out breath they can sound very much alike.

In rumanian language human being or man is ,,om" and it is the first time when I hear someone saying that the ,, ommmm" comes from the English word home. It is very interesting if we combine the two words ...om-man, home-acasa, so it will be the man is home.😁🙏

ok thanks, will try that. Have got some doubts though, while He advocates to be in the present, how good Or bad it is to (now and then) delve into some past events that evoke pleasant emotions Or fantasizing situations that does the same? Atleast compared to a ' not so eventful' present these escapades seem more fun. Or does truly being in the present is so much more joyful that the little "fun" pales in comparison? I could guess the answer but would like to hear your views. May I ask if you have personally experienced such episodes of being blissful for an extended period? I wonder if at least some who praise ET have experienced such a profound joy following his advice or could it be that many praise in hope for such an experience.( I'm aware you can't answer for others)

If being in the presence is so easy by just sitting and trying to be in the present by being aware of the breath or sounds ( it isn't easy at all for me ) , what is the reason for hundreds of meditation techniques devised to bring the unconscious state to the conscious state or the presence ? The mind is extremely, extremely strong and powerful to let go of me that easily. That tremendous energy in my body wouldn't allow me to just sit still and be in the presence. I am struggling. It looks like I am repressing my physical energy, deep urges, my thoughts trying to be in the presence. I don't know...

Try using your God Given Energy in positive ways such as focusing on tasks, crafts or creating something beautiful, if your good with your hands. Do gardening or even paint you're house. Feed the birds and go out for walks in nature. Doing stuff with your hands can take the attention away from the mind or in other words, focuses your mind on the task at hand.

For me easy. I had known my thoughts not me. But they controlled my behavior and I disagreeed but prayed and prayed. Instead JLP Said,' all thoughts are all lies all the time.' Started saying those words when I had a thought. Good or bad. Result. I no longer felt angry. When someone else was angry with me. Before their words came out. I'd say all thoughts are all lies all the time to me. I didn't feel their wrath toward me and didn't react to their behavior. But I really wanted to change.

Question: If one doesn't understand a language, e.g. prior to learning vocabulary, would they hear the "voice" in their head? 🤔 I wonder if there have been any studies about this?

It's not really a voice in the head but rather it is underlying feelings of desire, sadness, loneliness, worthlessness, or whatever else that causes suffering. They are emotions generated from the ego and the pain body. It's only when one puts words to what they are feeling do they generate the voice in the head. We ought to be the silent observer.

@@stephenflood3463thanks for your reply Stephen. I was a shorthand typist for many, many years and often note that when I'm listening to someone talk I'm actually receiving in my mind's eye their words by visualising me typing the individual letters on a keyboard or using shorthand symbols! Like a translator. Weird, huh?!!! 😜🦘🇦🇺 xoxoxo
