Please take a look at the comment I left on your last video. To check for a bad rod bearing, take the spark plug wires off one at time. If the noise diminishes or goes away on one of the cylinders, then you have found the cylinder with the bad rod bearing or bad piston pin. If the noise doesn’t go away, then it’s coming from something else, like one of the timing belt idler bearings or the belt tensioner bearing.

Hell, maybe it's an exhaust leak? If it's piston slap it will get quieter as the engine gets hot. Common thing on old rwd Volvo turbos.

Small end bearing/piston slap - standard neglected 1.0 Nissan turbo. That oil looks like a chocolate cake so it's going to need a rebuild.

What was the final diagnosis and solution to this problem?

Any updates? My Figaro isn't making any noises but just interested in learning what happened.

My 2c is that the noise seems to be consistent with each cylinder or power stroke so maybe it is indeed piston slap. You mentioned water in the oil so maybe that was thinned out too as a result ?

Yes it for sure is not 1 cylinder , we will prob pull the engine , not exactly a hard one or pull out for sure lol

If it is not Rod Knock, Piston Slap or Bearings, it must be rubbing some where........valve train on the cover? or underneath in the oil pan?

If auto transmission it sounds like a flywheel bolt got lose
