Thanks. I'm sure most people think $450 sounds expensive. Yet if you can reset the adaptive features and "code" any system on a BMW, it probably pays for itself the first time you use it compared to taking your car to the BMW dealer. Most of all, it sounds like the Scanner can do things properly. Big plus.

Nathan you are the reason why I bought this exact scanner last week and it just came in today. The price I like about it compared to the launch model I was looking at. I’m really looking to be able to use this on my BMW M5 when I buy it next week and when I get in the cord for the E39 M5 that I’m about to buy in the next few days. Thank You for another Great Video... This past December, I ordered the exact Launch Scanner and love it... After swapping dashes on a Salvaged Kia Soul, the only code that came up after the car was back together was the Steering Angle Sensor... Took it to Kia, they wanted to charge over $300 to fix, so I just ordered the Launch Scanner, fixed it within minutes... Truly enjoy how it pulls the VIN, all the reset functions, etc... Anybody looking for an awesome scanner for the price point, the Launch will work well for you... Thanks again for your thoughts and only confirming what I learned this past month, that this Launch Scanner is a Keeper!

I have had the Launch Elite Bmw scanner and it is good. This one seems to be the same but for most manufacturers. Nice.

Looks great for the price but that was concerning it did nothing when you tapped the help icon for the fault code!

Can this tell modern BMWs there’s a new battery installed so it resets the alternator charge and won’t burn out the new battery?

Just a question, at what mileage do throttle actuators and smg clutch fail, like the Most cases. Mine is 67,000 Miles so should I worry about these 2 yet? Rod bearings are done alongside vanos hp line

hey Nate good morning. wondering if you can help with some knowledge. More than once now on both a bmw and mini ive had computer issues after major work such as head gasket. I currently have a 2013 528 I bought with beginnings of failing timing chain guide. The car ran with the rattling chain no misfires. After doing the chain now the DME is acting all buggy giving combustion to short codes. Ive changed computers previously to solve the problem but really want to stop causing this stuff as the computer swap is an added cost caused by me somehow. Can you help with some sort of guidance as to what im doing wrong or is this normal and need to do some software work after disconnecting battery

Agree! This is an awesome scanner for this price range. I was fortunate enough to pick this up early October. They bundled in two OBD2 extension cables and a launch Creader 3001 code reader for free. I was able to get it for $341 shipped. Don’t know if you’ll see that price again Let me know if you can figure out how to get to the camera and also the browser (without having to do a code search first)

Well, when you have to pay $799 to update the subscription after 2 years it`s no wonder the unit price is cheap. You could easily just buy two new units instead wich in itself is total madness.

does this scanner work on older BMWs like e34 and older e39s

Is it ok to buy this on Amazon? I just spoke to a US Launch rep and he said not to buy it from Amazon because those are for “global” use and will have compatibility issues with US cars. That and no updates or support. Is that true or did he say that because he wants me to buy it from his local sales trucks?

Adaptions on Vanos that’s amazing that it dies that 👍🏻

Can you PLEASE test this on an older bmw? Like e36 abs module which requires communication over ADS with the round 20 pin plug under the hood? Thank you

I was just looking at scanners, particularly one around 400ish that can do bidirectional if there is one that price. Will those bleed the abs and active sway bars/power steering? Thanks for the video, on to the other one you posted today. Christmas came early 🎅 HO HO HO lol

All of a sudden but when I was looking for a good scanner and ended up with an Autel MK808 your video was no where to be found

I have to change out the cluster on my 2005 E53 4.4 to a used/tested unit. Does this scanner change mileage?

Yes but maybe not all functions. contact launch with your specific vehicle and they can tell which ones are supported. They are constantly updating the software and adding new functions…

My Autel cost big bucks to update

You should have got the launch that does keys also very handy
