Perhaps watching the dominion documentary that’s free on KZread would give you some insight as to why the term is quite fitting. Cows going through the entire slaughter process fully conscious or having their full term young cut out of them while they’re hanging before slaughter is quite gruesome/ but burying your head in the sand is always a good way to combat cognitive dissonance and using terminology as a way to argue against something morally superior also helps people cope with their actions..

@Donkerz Here's an ACTUAL argument as to why it's wrong: It clears forests to make farmland, far more so than animal agriculture does (you need more space for crops than animals), which theoretically does more harm to our atmosphere than animal farms ever could (Because if you chop down all the trees, the plant that absorbs the most CO2 on our planet, then there's nothing to effectively absorb CO2 and turn it back into oxygen). you also don't get the nutrients you need that you would get from a balanced omnivore diet, which often leads to being malnourished. That, and a good amount of vegans love to force their veganism onto their pets (IE their dogs), which leads to them being malnourished as well. the list goes on and on.

Aria Britton while some of these are valid points, you need to also keep in mind that more forests need to be cleared for raising cattle as well as all of the extra agricultural crops needed to feed those animals as well. If meat consumption went way down there wouldn’t be as much of a need to clear out so much extra forests for feeding crops + cattle. There are also new invocations being made in the fields of micro farming agriculture (such as micro greens) that are much more environmentally friendly to grow and use up much less water, energy and most importantly MUCH less land to grow.

Aria Britton it’s also not really fair to judge the entire philosophy of veganism based on the handful of misguided extremists who do things like force dogs and cats to be vegan. I’m well aware that those people exist and they are horrible, but they seem to be a rather small minority that tend to get more attention than vast majority of normal, level headed vegans precisely because their actions are so extreme they command so much attention.

@@kingkmtso5107 The holocaust was a genocide. You don't "get over" a tragedy like this when over 6 million people were murdered. The effects of the holocaust are still being felt. There are still holocaust survivors alive who still have to cope with the trauma of going through such an event and are still separated from their families after all this time. Antisemitism and other forms of discrimination are still big issues, though things have improved since then. I encourage you to do some research on the topic. It is a major event in history that I doubt will be forgotten or that people will stop caring about any time soon.

The Steph and nicks drama bozo vs the world did such a good job pointing out things in their videos I loved it. Nick kept minimizing things Stephane said. I can’t help but be a bit disturbed when people act like Nick’s main and only problem is his weight… Yes, he is very unhealthy and a bad example for others. His overeating is irresponsible. But his weight is not why he is a horrible person. It’s pretty much everything else that he does - the drama, the lies, breakdowns, overall disgusting behavior… I don’t know, just the amount of vitriol fat people get just for being fat saddens me sometimes. He doesn’t care about research, he doesn’t care about doing a good job, he only cares about himself and his crumbling image. Maybe if those influencers weren’t selfish, irresponsible, and unaware of how much influence they actually have on others people wouldn’t hate them in the first place.

What bothered me was that people were coming after Stephanie because her video was so well put together. Yeah? She makes crime videos for God's sake. She knows how to lay things out properly. I saw others saying she was "crying" enough??? She edited it out unlike Nick who bangs the table? It was so annoying. Stephanie had so much proof but people were so annoying about it. It made me think it was bullies who were annoyed that the bullying victim spoke up.

I love this, it sums up so much of the 27-year-old crisis I'm going through. Also, I must add that I greatly enjoyed every minute of this 4 hour waste of time. So not really sorry, actually.

I feel like if your genuinely beefing with Trisha Paytas, your at the point of no return for anyone to take you seriously

The power of a well edited and well paced documentary is amazing. I got three and a half hours in before I realized I didn't care about anything that was happening between these people. Not to say that this is poorly made or anything. Just that it was very compelling that I forgot I didn't care about the subject matter. And that's really impressive.

I'm at that 3+ point now and wondering why I give 2 shits. But I'm now invested and would like to finish it only coz TRO and his team put in such an amazing effort. I doubt there's a better video on this topic.. so.. I guess I'll put it on 1.5 speed and run through. But really, they all start to look the same as far as personalities & thirst for YT clicks/views/money - that it ultimately all becomes a shitshow where no one is right in the slightest. Just a game of "pretend to be friends for views, then throw the person under the bus for even more views". What a disgusting community.
