I think some of it is because they’re streamers or friends with ones, and virtually every popular streamer (or someone trying to make it) has explosive, child-like reactions to keep their teenage audience engaged. This one is probably genuine, but people see a negative response to an extreme reaction and defend because (result wise) they do the same thing.

I'm fine with Star Wars Theory getting choked up at finally seeing Luke not portrayed as a complete joke. Was it jangle keys? Yes. Was the CGI terrible? Yes. Was the AI voice godawful? Yes. Did it makes sense why or how he was there? No. Did he at any moment ask what the fuck was going on with all the killer robots? No. But there was at least an effort to try to give fans something they wanted. But this? This fucking guy crying at a sequel trailer? Now THAT'S embarrassing.

Luke wasn’t key jangling, it made sense with the story, they just didn’t follow through with it later on. The CGI and voice were fine. It was established how he was there in a previous ep. He doesn’t need to ask what’s going on with the robots, they are obviously evil.

Let's be honest, Star Wars fans will keep watching these films even if they hate them.

I’m not gonna lie, I was super hyped when the Revenge of the Sith trailer dropped, but that was the culmination of things people had heard and speculated about for literal decades. The volcano fight, the birth of Luke and Leia, and Palpatine becoming Emperor are one thing, but getting worked up over THIS shit? WTF? What was there to get excited about? Han’s dead, Luke’s dead, Carrie Fisher’s dead, and the new main characters haven’t had a SINGLE adventure together! Hell, Rey didn’t even MEET Poe until the last scene in TLJ! I get being a huge dork for Star Wars, but this is just pathetic.

When I first saw this guy's reaction, I thought it was a joke. Oh well, good for him. I seriously don't get people who cry when watching trailers. I'm mostly like, "Oh nice. Can't wait to see it".

The thing was he was panting with excitement before anything even was on screen. It's not like he had that reaction from cool scenes or images.

His in-human overreactions are PAINFUL to watch. I've seen many film trailers, some got me excited for the upcoming release, while others either raised my eyebrow or caused me to roll my eyes back in mocking contempt; none of them brought me to the state of pseudo-sexual euphoria this dude is having. This reaction can't be real!

Wolf, will you do a highlight of listing off all of the movies Jay hasn't seen?

Besides LOTR, I also know that he hasn't seen "Trungo's Adventure", which could make for another highlight (the opening of EFAP 173 about Trungo's, wumbology and the mumbo-jumbo bounce-house)

I had an emotional reaction to The Force Awakens trailer. After watching it for the 5th time and connecting the dots that my favorite heroes are going to be on the big screen once more, having one last adventure in the galaxy far, far away. Which turned out to be a fucking lie, for the most part.

It's one thing to find so much joy in something that you're reduced to a whimpering pile of tears. It's another to record that, watch it back, and upload it to the internet in the hopes that people won't make fun of you for being a cringey manbaby.

Two things. I thought it was for TFA, and I thought it was understandable. The fact that it's for TROS of all things.... He had to have known what the fuck people thought of Disney SW. And second, people think it's fine to cry over something you're attached to. But he starts ONE SECOND IN. It's incredibly impossible to hit this level of emotion with just the mention of the damn project.

This dude loses his shit over 9000 after 2 seconds of a black screen into a trailer....mind blowing...this is the type of audience Disneys shit movies work on...

Thank you very much for making these highlights, usually watching an episode is a multi day affair for me and i appreciate the best parts being put into a more digestible format.

That reaction right there was the moment we all realised that society needs to move on from star wars. They're always gonna classics, but Jesus Christ we need to have something else going on

I remember when this reaction video came out and thinking it was the most embarrassing thing ever, it still is.. but I don’t think I ever laughed my ass off watching it. My feelings towards butts was never thinking he was a pathetic loser, but more so like… keep away from me, and while I won’t say anything, I’m just gonna tilt my head and raise my eyebrows. Like saying “oh… it’s THAT guy…”

4:00 _"Every Generation has a Legend."_ This trailer is so unoriginal that Disney is actually mining the Prequel Trilogy for member berries. This phase literally comes up 20 seconds into "The Phantom Menace" trailer.

I cried hearing Wolf's voice at the end of this video. I am serious and Buttzpilled.

This guy is a prime example of why corporations get away with churning out crap because of brand loyalty / brainwashed chumps.

This brings back memories, this was one of my favourite episodes.

This trailer reaction will always be one of the legendary internet video nasties for me, besides things like 2 Girls 1 Cup, BME Pain Olympics, and Meatspin.

I remember seeing the RoS trailer in theaters with my brother. He was generally displeased (to put it lightly) with the whole thing but when we got to the Palpatine laugh, he honestly exclaimed in the theater "are you f**king kidding me?"
