That's why I hate Chris Stuckman: He's an absolute shill, weasel, treacherous snake and pathological liar. How this guy became a big named KZread movie critic for how little intellectual thought he puts into his review astounds me since he's an insult to the profession he's supposed to uphold: giving an honest, unbiased critical analysis of a product that informs the audience of the quality of said product. Many people consider Stuckman an absolute shill and a fraud because he'll frame whatever false narrative, throw any group of people under the bus and even throw his own family under that same bus just to generate the most sympathy and likes. The dude lacks any form of self awareness that he contradicts his own principles and rules just to cater to the popular mindset and he even wound up saying the very thing Red Letter Media mocked (the very same channel that he previously praised and looked up to): the sentiment that big studios don't want audiences to ask questions, just consume product and be excited for next movie. The fact that he put out a video that further proves my point as he's says he's a movie critic...who doesn't critically analyze movies anymore. I'm sorry, what? That's the equivalent of being a photographer who doesn't take any photos, a boxer who doesn't fight or a ballerina who doesn't dance. What a worthless video from a worthless critic.

  • @Garrus1995

I’ve really started to dislike him ever since he made his spiel about how he’s not gonna bad mouth movies anymore because “it’s hard to make movies and making KZread reviews isn’t.” It’s like, just because what he does is mindless and easy doesn’t mean every other critic out there is phoning it in. Guys like Mauler and other critics make what are essentially documentaries about films they both do and don’t like; that takes a lot of work and dedication. So for an idiot like Stuckmann to put down people who are much more insightful and hardworking than he is or has ever been is just utter BS.

So is Chris Gore. Remember he released My Big Fat Independent Movie in the early ‘00’s? Chris Gore then had his website (Film Thread, they also produced the movie) write a 5/5 star review for his movie, only then for Film Thread to get criticized for it because the movie was negatively panned by everyone when it was released. His website then moved away from doing any more press for the movie because of the backlash they received. What a shill.

Thing is, Batman and Superman finding out each other's identities was done just fine in the Animated series. Superman uses his X-Ray vision to see through Batman's cowl, then later Superman flies back to his Clark Kent apartment and finds a tracker on his cape, looks out the window to see Batman staring at him through binoculars. Now it's a push, neither one can reveal the other's Identity without the other being able to do the same. And most of that was done with zero dialogue. So it can be done, just not with jokey cringe dialogue.

And I’m sitting watching this video and thinking “wait, so you’re gonna review movies? Isn’t that what you’ve been doing for like a decade?” Honestly, the guy’s content is so vapid that he thinks relabeling what he has been doing for years is somehow groundbreaking. Worse yet is his brain dead audience acts like this is a bold new direction for his channel.

This is why if you're a novice or first-time writer, you should HAVE objective friends or colleagues whose opinions you value, to critique your work. Stuckman obviously lacks this support system as NO sensible human being (or good friend) would've allowed him to post that embarrassing "re-write" for the world to see. 🤔 Unless they despise him and wanted him to make a fool of himself.

I do feel bad for Stuckmann. He grew up in a Jehovah's Witness household which explains alot of his lack of self awareness due to him being sheltered and watching movies was the only thing that gave him comfort as a kid. Unfortunately, he is one of those people that lacks talent in something that they are very passionate about which is movie making.

The 'vision' which stops Bruce would work _if_ Superman wasn't actually a mass murderer and a continuous threat to city infrastructure and millions of civilian lives. Basically Thomas and _Kal_ would have to have something in common whatsoever. Maybe, _maybe_ if Lois said Clark was her child's father but I can't see that happening with any measure of good dialogue.

Watching this after EFAP's new vid about Chris Stuckmann on Madam Web, where he said creatives are never at fault and if anything goes wrong in a film it's because of "the studio". He kept saying he knows what it's like because he's a creative too. So my question is, did "the studio" make him do this? Or does CS want to take back that "creatives" never make anything bad? Re Mauler asking if it's criticism that makes praise meaningful- indeed, this is why on all the talent shows Simon Cowell judges it's him everyone wants to hear from. They know he's the toughest, so it's extra special when he gives praise.

chris' bvs rewrite is the gift that keeps on giving. he is a certifiable lolcow. (that's right, i'm throwing down like it's the early 2010s.) no matter how old it gets, there's something fascinating about the mindset that thought it up.
