When Dorian later confronts Tina about Stanley’s kiss, Tina defensively asks, “Did it look like I had much of a choice?” But we can tell from the close-ups that Tina wanted that kiss and she definitely enjoyed it!
@adamzanzie
Жыл бұрын
@Max Dee Well we know from the park scene which occurs later on that Tina does have her boundaries, because when Stanley starts getting too raunchy with her, she kicks him in the family jewels. Which I think was the filmmakers' way of saying that Stanley needs to back off if Tina is not being compliant. Yet even though Stanley goes too far, he never forces Tina to do anything -- as opposed to Dorian, who never really lets Tina have a choice, especially at the end.

Cameron Diaz in this movie man, probably my earliest recollection of having a crush on a girl

Damn Cameron Diaz looked really good here 😍😍🔥🔥🔥
Prime Jim Carrey was the man back then
Thanos: Now reality can be whatever I want! Mask: Hold my Tina 🤪
Classic never gets old movie everything from the actors , effects and writing is amazing.
This movie in pretty much Jim Carrey being himself 🤣
As a kid, “HEY! PACHUCO!! HEY!!!” had me in a chokehold.
Jim Carrey and Cameron Diaz really nailed it in this scene!
What makes the mask so powerful is that it’s like a green lantern ring it’s powered and fuelled by imagination so if you can think it you can do it.

Only problems are that is lowers the inhibitions of the wearer and it only works at night...thankfully the movie version is only as good or as bad as the wearer.
Dude, it's so amazing how the Mask works. No one seems to be confused about how the Mask does what he does. He changed the band's clothes, moved his legs like putty, turned Tina into a tornado and gave Tina a kiss that blew her shoes off and no one even cares. Heck, the audience doesn't even wonder why his head is green and Tina doesn't even wonder why her shoes blew off. P.S. Sometimes I think he didn't even know his kiss did that. I love how this scene is a homage to Tex Avery’s cartoon “Red Hot Riding Hood.” It would be awesome to see this scene reanimated one day. Also, if I ever wore the mask, I’d like to think it would turn me into a living Tex Avery cartoon.

I wish that other cartoons would imitate this kiss and I heard from the Internet that they are actually spoofs of the scene you wouldn’t know anything about that would you
