There are a number of comments that criticize the audience. First, I strongly urge you to just let people live their lives. Your life isn't any better or worse than theirs. If they didn't do what you think you would do, it doesn't mean they need to be put down. You're not perfect or a moral compass for how people should act at comic book conventions. Next, there's no need for such negativity, especially since you're criticizing without knowing the full story. In fact, the reason that the audience is not dancing, clapping, or otherwise getting involved in some way is due to the lack of sound. These amazing cosplayers brought a small radio. I put the microphone in front of it to get the sound. But most of the room, especially with the carpet muting the sound, could not hear the music. So as far as they were concerned, it was a couple of cosplayers dancing in virtual silence. That makes it less enticing to move with the music. Also, it was early Sunday morning and I think people were a little tired after 2 days of comiccon. So that's my note for today. I don't comment often but it seems we all have lots more time these days. Take care.

It was great but there's no way you can dance to this on a carpet You need to be on a dance floor. I could tell that affected the performance a lot. Naturally high heels are going to get caught in a carpet like that.

Simon Fontaine was such a great Jim Carrey Impersonater! (It was awesome to perform this with him!! 🎉

This was taken by one camera and at one angle. And it already looks amazing. Imagine how epic the cinematography would look if they used more cameras at different angles.

I know that this is 4 years too late, but that reenactment of The Mask was really wonderful. Simon and Michele did an excellent job. I don't know how they were able to get their costumes, but that matters not. Point is, if I were to rate their performance on a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give it a 75. Because, like I said, it was wonderful. I hope I get to see something just as wonderful at New York Comic Con this year. Maybe I might get a miracle, because I don't believe in good luck, nor bad luck.

I had fun of course! But Simon had set the barre high for Jim Carrey! And he was in shape enough to dance the whole number with me:) 🎉

Totally exceeded my expectations of what this dance would be. I Expected Stanley to pull out some props💃🕺Dancing on that floor must've killed their feet.

Dang this was epic glad the mask still getting some recognition sadly no new movies.😭😭😭😭

People might say these two aren't as good as the scene in the film, but remember, with the film, they could do multiple takes when needed and also incorporate professional doubles in.

the beginning was almost a 1:1 recreation! props to them for being accurate to the material and so skilled to execute it well!

Yup! That had to be the dullest crowd of North Americans ever assembled -I've seen livelier folk at a funeral, and that includes the recently departed! The performance by both dancers(which was terrific, a complete knock-out) would have been even better if they had just shown some appreciation and excitement.
