Butterbean is such a sweetheart. A very genuine guy
He always showed great sportsmanship...a good example for the young and a real class act
Dudes a warrior going 17 and 10 in mma after a successful boxing career says a lot about him. Most fighters now days are so worried about their record.

Hell yeah, he took the saying “you win some, you lose some” like nobody I’ve seen before. He may have a lot of L’s, but how many fights? How many years?

First time I saw him was in Jackass. I had to find out how good he was actually and damn this guy is a legend. He also fights in a way that is very entertaining for the viewer.
Butterbean is a true warrior. Changing from boxing to MMA was not easy at all.

By 2009 was Eric Esch was already 43 years old he is fighting guys who are in their 20's. He is much heavier then in his 20s and 30s when he was a boxing champ. Not sure these guys would be able to beat him that easy if he was in his late 20's.
What a great warrior. Nobody can tell any bad thing about him. What a legend.
for a man of that size that's just an impressive record ! I just have a lot of respect
True warrior. Unfortunately he lost most of fights in the same way, but never gave up.
hes a true warrior🔥
He was a legendary powerhouse of thunder tagged knockouts!
One of my favorite fighters ❤
Back in the good old day where there no weight classes. It was like you fight this giant or big or smaller guy and thier advantages and disadvantages for both guys.
Brave man. My hat's off to Butterbean. I hope he has a contented retirement.

@greebj

Kicking was not his style, anything other than a front kick would be fantasy, it would have power but no angle or range or speed, kicks would drain his legs quickly, would give opportunities for counters and putting him on the ground which he was never great at (unless they were squashed underneath with him), and his style was wearing down the opponent to the point he could end the fight by advancing with a neverending flurry of haymakers which his physique was suited to

Always loved watching Butterbean's matches. In straight up boxing he was an incredibly powerful puncher. He would deliver massive knockout blows. It's awesome that he has such a large fan base in the 🇬🇧!!! I'm fascinated with the United Kingdom. I can't wait to visit London someday. Cheers 🍻 from Miami!
I wish BKFC had been around in his prime. Him and Kimbo would have lit the world on fire.
Enjoyed watching his fights.
He didn't get the credit he deserved
He did pretty damn well in MMA for a pure boxer. I wish we got to see Rulon Gardner compete in MMA more, he also had potential.
Esse cara é o máximo
Everybody has some weaknesses, no matter how strong they are. Even though, butterbean is such a legendary fighter!
Seems like a really nice Guy.
Butterbean has class and mad skills.
He had serious power
Great Man Great Fighter
That Butterbean is really a good guy with a hearth.
Butterbean had such a sweet voice. He had no apparent appearance of an over inflated ego.
It's hard to see a genuinely good guy fall like that. Size and speed, just had to cover the head better. Good share for one of my favorite people. Thx bud!
He lost every fight when he was on the ground and in side control. Some damn body should have work with him on how to get out of that situation. If he goes down - it’s over !
@jaseallenson316

Did you watch the video? Obviously not. Cuz he choked someone out on the ground. But im sure it was fixed like much of his fights. Happens a lot with these small organizations trying to promote a star, cuz they are so desperate for traction. Edit: just seen him win his second fight by submission. Edit: just seen him win his third fight by submission with a choke. My goodness what did you watch?

@@jaseallenson316 I’m not talking about him falling on top of someone then choking them out after they fell down. I was referring to when he went down and his opponent got side control.
Nobody can say Eric wasn't a gamer, i hate to see him get hurt with all that weight when gravity takes charge not so easy to get up quickly, he was a TRUE American. That former WSM for many years really had some potential
I love Butterbean he’s a good man good man👍🏻✨❤️
Could you imagine if boxing officials let him fight in the featherweight division like MMA does? He'd be collecting scalps.

There's no shame in losing to this man.

No se le puede negar que a pesar de no tener un físico o somatotipo ideal para deportes de contacto era primero decidido y luego valiente ya que su gran debilidad era caer al suelo y allí era como una tortuga patas arriba.

Back when the contender aired Sly Stallone was supposed to fight Butter Bean. As strong as i know Sly is i think it would have been a bad idea.

COOL DUDE
Wait that first fight they showed was a real fight?
If Butter Bean fall on you it’s over!!!
Butterbean is cool
What a lovely guy
