It's free content if you bought the figurine already for looks/collecting, or had interest in it that way to begin with. The "content" here is looking absolutely minimal, nothing that will detract from the experience for people who don't get the amiibo, a tiny bonus at best. So really nothing to complain about ..

+Sato Agreed. The Wolf Link content is debatable though. For someone who really wants that content but have no interest in the amiibo itself then it comes down to if the content is worth the price of an amiibo.

Zelda/Shiek is broken, Ganondorf sounds like fun, especially while doing a 3-Heart Run, and it sounds like I might do an No-Sword-Except-When-Absolutely-Necessary Run thanks to the Links.

I'm pretty sure it only regenerates hearts and arrows like once per session or every 10 hours or something, because in Kirby rainbow curse you can't use the amiibo repeatedly. Same with most other games I think

+Pixelpaj ......you dont understand! They are supposed to reward you! If you dont get your reward, thats already un-rewarding! But on top of that, before, beating Zelda was an achievement! Now its nothing! Who knows if you just used Zelda Amiibos! The achievement means nothing... so your statement is just not understanding it at all! Those functions kills the sensation of accomplishment!

I'm very excited to be getting this game. I'm going to do a whole "Ganondorf" run, no Link / Tink / Zelda / Sheik, Final Destination!

I'm gonna guess that completing the wolf dungeon gets you a really cool item, plus the wolf link amiibo is the only one that the video says is compatible with the new new Zelda coming out later, so that amiibo at least seems pretty worth it to me

Like you said it's unnecessary meaning you don't need it Would be a totally different story if it unlocked a silver arrow that was the only way to beat Zant. People that call themselves "core gamers" will never need or use any of this because the game is really easy for veteran players

People freaking out about this making it too easy. But the amiibos are time locked to once every 24 hours. You can buy about 100 potions in that time that do the exact same thing. It's effectively just an extra consumable. Also Ganondorf will make the game interesting. I'm more interested in wondering what you get in Zelda WiiU if you beat that challange dungeon with maximum hearts.

Please just give us more Zelda U news already.

Yeah I love aiming with the pointer and doing the shield thrust with the nunchuck. If WWHD is anything to go by though then gyro is pretty awesome as well. For Metroid Prime the mote is way better in my opinion but with TP it's just somewhat of a preference.

IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL.

I hope that the Zelda/Shiek Amiibo don't work in the cave of shadows.

Cirac1 I know that you can not use healing items because you are stuck as Wolf Link. But you can just tap the Amiibos.

Fairies still work as wolf Link don't they? But I think they'll probably limit it outside of the challange dungeon. It would defeat the point of the dungeons purpose (To unlock content based on performance in Zelda WiiU)

well, the amiibo wont be exactly in its own container. its the whole box. so if you open the box to pull out the game, might as well take the amiibo out too since its opened already.

Personally, I never found the game that difficult at all ( except for some temples and the Zant boss fight). wouldn't all this make the game too easy? There should be some restriction on it, like you can only use the Zelda amiibo every 10-20 minutes in game.

This is one of Zelda game that I haven't played since I skipped GC, N64 and wii. Glad to see Ocarina and Majora's remake before, and now Twilight Princess. Thank you Nintendo. Now I can experience TLoZ fully (only Skyward Sword left) XD

Wolf Link Amiibo = Pay extra for this dungeon we could've easily put in the base game. Link Amiibo = Take away the challenge of making your shots count. Ganondorf Amiibo = Pay extra for a difficulty setting that could've easily been put into the base game. Zelda Amiibo = Take all of the challenge of the game completely away. I'm not buying any of this garbage.

+Drake Zeringue I don't understand, they wouldn't have put any of this in without the Amiibo as incentive. The reason that I say this is that Hero mode is already available without it and based on the previous remasters there would be little else.

smashbrother86 That doesn't justify nintendo locking a harder difficulty on to a $13.00 piece of plastic. They're taking advantage of players' desire to take on more of a challenge.

Knowing that whitout Amiibo functionality, this version of the game has exactly the same amount of content as the original, what essential part or key feature was cut off, that would be *normally included in other Zelda games*. (This is key to establishing your argument because *THIS* is the main (and maybe only) argument against DLC)

I liked twilight princess when I played it, I would go back to it again

I think the Ganon option and the Wolf Dungeon are VERY cool additions to an already amazing game. Nintendo is just scratching that Zelda itch for us before the 2016 GOTY drops.

Welp, with all 5 Smash series Zelda amiibos in my collection, and my pre-order of TPHD coming with the Wolf Link amiibo, I'd say I'm primed and ready for this game's amiibo functionality.

Can't wait to pre order this game and I really want to work for Nintendo

I borrowed the game back in 2006, finished it and return it, I think I only got to see about half of what I can discover in the world... But now I can get 100% with this version :B
