They had me at Phoenix Wright and Strider. Then when they showed Segata Sanshiro, Chrom, Lucina, and Fiora; I went from wanting this game to needing this game.

SPTK Sun No way. A focus attack can only tank one hit, and it can't be used immediately in succession. That was definitely a parry.

+Silvan Dragonight Eh, not really. You have 3-5 button combinations of the D-Pad + A and you can use up to 3 of those combinations per battle. All you do is press Up + A or Left + A and the computer does all the fighting for you. And you can use the shoulder buttons to bring in allies if available.

Actually, you have to press a combination of the D-Pad and the A Button to launch your attacks. Not only that, but you have to time them so you can deal maximum damage to your opponet and/or score criticals (and activate Cross Hit) as well as trying to get 3 attacks (and possibly a super) in before your time limit is up. No, it's not as complicated as Street Fighter or Tekken, but you still have to pay attention. And since it is a Strategy RPG, you also to have to pay attention to where you are, as your attack range is limited and the damage you dish out and receive is based on where you and the enemy are facing.

Regardless of what others say, I really liked the first game, and are very hyped for this one too.

Chrom, Lucina, and Fiora will all be in this game. You can see them briefly in this trailer at 1:46 (Fiora), 1:50 (Chrom, a sprite on the right side of the screen), and at 2:09 (Lucina, in a bridal dress with the bow and arrow.)

+Chaos_Knight Maybe if this sells well, we'll have a chance of getting NxC Remake. Now that I remember... Reiji and Xiaomu appeared in de DS game Super Robot Taisen OG Saga - Endless Frontier with KOS-MOS and TELOS. Even that game was localized.

There is no reason for Asura, Shulk, and Amaterasu to not be in this game.

Fiora was paired with KOS MOS since first off, they're both Robot Girl-Type characters. And secound off, their franchises are both part of the Xeno series and are made by Monlithsoft.

+Primal Uktena He isn't. Its been in Japan for a while, so the full roster is out. Oh, and I get why to an extent, but still. Shulk and Fiora are both from Monolithsoft and KOS MOS had her robot girl partner in the last game. They seem kinda like moot points, and I think Shulk would've had a cool moveset with his Arts, Monado and otherwise.

I'm pretty much in love with this game's roster, even more epic than the first game. I mean, Ryo Hazuki is in here, Segata Sanshiro is finally making a videogame debut in the US, he was in the Japanese only Dreamcast RPG Segagaga but this is his first time localized, and the guest characters of Chrom, Lucina, and Fiora!

In this series (Endless Frontier/NamcoXCapcom/ProjectXZone), all similar universes are shared, so al the fighting game characters and present day protagonists (such as Phoenix Wright, the Resident Evil guys, Darkstalkers, Devil May Cry, etc.) all occupy the same Earth, with Sakura Wars being in the past and futuristic characters like X, Haseo, and KOS-MOS coming from alternate futures. And even the ones that explicitly come from alternate universes (the Super Robot Wars and Tales characters) come from a relatively realistic setting. Sonic and friends have no place in these games.

Kite and Haseo as a team unit was all I needed/wanted. Just sucks that Azure Kite is a rival/villain unit for whatever reason considering he was created by Aura to protect the network after Kite left... Was kinda hoping he might've been a Solo Unit to pair with Kite and Haseo.

you know what'd be awesome? if we got a remake or a port of the first game in this series.

Was hoping for Sonic or Pacman, would've also been neat to have Namco Bandai dip into one of the anime properties they have video game rights on and throw them in. A Luffy, Goku or Jojo assist would've been neat.

So I've read a little of this but not so much on the story. Anyone mind answering of what the general plot without spoiling too much or the ending? Is it just general universe collide and they have to get back home or do they live in the same universe? Or is it something more along the lines of Mortal Kombat/Super Smash Bros where they're all in this one place to fight but something bad ruins it?
