I liked that, actually. She doesn't want to be responsible for anyone's death. Han Sen was selfless in getting her out, but knowing the king, they'd never be safe even in Russia(?)😉 or Mongolia.

I love Han Shen so much! Listen, you are not a rehab center to take care of guys with issues. Han Shen is a good partner, he's always there for her, he never belittle her, he understands and respects her. He's willing to protect, assist, and help her. That's a partner you need in life. But oh well, this is one of the movies that romanticize abuse and calls it love lol

Facts!

The conversation between the king and Han Shen is so good. Both the men are trying their best to love her. On the other hand, jing ke is so useless and drunk all the time.

Ok, they don't know how to do it right. All they had to do it tell part truth and other part use emotions and use it my advantage. I would start with how he people were wipe out, my grandfather gave the few of us left instructions concerning me... eventhough yes you said you would watch over me and guard me... I worried about my adopted family and they worried about me. They say how people tried to kill me, so trying to find out why. With crying also an be extra with it. However, the King is just selfish and lack understanding. He tried to kill her man, stolen her and didn't care about her life before he took her and other things, so technically he has no right to be angry or try to use a guilt trip on her. However, they way worked. Wow! Great fighting skills.

I think she did told her love that to free him she knew he was looking for a way to get her out and have that life they had she’s aware enough to know that’s not happening. Plus saying good bye no matter how hard has to happen. Her guard she knew at that point to save him was to make him her Guard. He chose to follow her into the palace and she tried many times to save him. That was the only move she had left to save both. Will she hurt her love with what she did yes but it was the only way he would move forward. Plus she knows she’s now the kings and there’s no choice for her and her son
