He was the MVP to me! I kept referring to him as 'Mr. Capable' bcuz he was the only likeable character from this thriller drama (not romance, bcuz the king was definitely the bad guy here and everyone should have banded together to destroy him. That would have been a better drama by far! Like 'John Tucker Must Die' type of thing and the harem, eunchs and diplomats work together to kill the tryannical overlord! That's a drama!) Instead he dies defending his one-sided love's kid while the said parents go off somewhere and die like this is some Disney movie. What a disappointing story since they didn't win in the end and the king survived. smh

Correct. I would like to watch she and Jing ke happily together. Jing ke was the Unluckiest person in whole drama. He had to be snatched away his beloved by wrong means of King. He has to breath into hatred and guilt, even he never did anything wrong. He had Li er in heart always but he could not do all things with her what they Planned together to live happily. He had to convert into a killer from a warrior because of The king's brutality. nor he was lucky enough to spend time with li er as Hen shan did. Neither He could see his son's face. In the end, he had to die because of a day when the King meet both of them in Hendan. *An unlucky day changed his everything* I really love Jing ke most if i would have to choose, I would have choose my first love Jing ke.

I think he was a little in love with Madame Li but knew he could never show it or let on that he had any feelings for her.

This proves that some people are just not capable of love no matter how much one loves them. Finally she had to let him kill her to prove it to him that he could have trusted her all along. Such an unworthy man. But story aside, the acting is brilliant.

I have to agree with you about this story it took her a long time to figure out her intentions overheard to make him realize that he did not have to be so conniving and is very scheming just so he can get things his way and always his way but it is such a tragedy because gain the whole time she was in the palace with him he have seemed too grown to love her even though she has showed compassion for him but she never said those three little words that he needed to hear from her.

I watched this when it first came out and I absolutely hated the ending. Two years later I watched it again and only now do I realize that this drama needed an ending like this. The king needed to know how to rule and treat others and with the death of one whom he loves the most, he’ll learn his lesson.

He was never in love with her. Yes, there was warm intimacy and mutual attraction in their relationship but you can't call that love. Love comes with selflessness and respect for each other's people. But the king hated her people and his love for her was nothing more than obsession with her beauty and personality. She failed her people, her grandfather and her true childhood lover, for that king who instinctively killed her.

A year ago I saw this drama, I was really sad because of the end. But seeing it now, I think I understand the reason for her sacrifice. She sacrifice herself for the world. Because of her, there will no longer be unnecessary wat.

Actually he become more crazy after this event. Become increasingly paranoid and afraid of death. Always carry his sword everywhere. Bury alive those who oppose him such as hundreds of those Confucianist Scholar. Sent assassins and hundreds/thousand of soldiers to capture/kill Tian Ming. At the end, he got manipulated by Zhao Gao (his eunuch) into taking pills containing mercury. Believing that it will make him immortal. Btw, she isn't just sacrifice herself. It's obviously suicide. She trick him into stabbing her with his sword, as the messages, to make him understand what it feels like to lose a loved one (this is also can be represent as "her/person/citizen/people of the world", desire to express "revenge/sadness/ heartbroken/dissapointment" toward him, the King). Had not, she would have stabbed herself with her own dagger. Anyway, with Jing Ke (her "Real" husband & the man that she deeply in love with) dead, she must be feeling like she can't continue living in the world where he isn't exist anymore. Not only he is the father of her son, he was also the main reason why she sacrificed her own freedom and entered the palace in the first place. For her, he is the most important existence, more then her own life & freedom. If we follow this story without overlook how it was started, we can understand clearly, that.... For Gongsun Li, Jing Ke is Not an outsider. He is "INSIDER".... her "Family", her true "Home", and her "Husband". Since she let her son to leave the palace, she already decided to die. As a "mother", eventhough in order to survive, she has to accept many things that was against her own conscience, she is indeed already do her best for the whole 10years. At the end, she decide to die because of love as a "woman". As "Jing Ke's Wife" she followed her husband to his death.

The last sentence is not the real fact, that was only her hope. However unfortunately, Qin shi huang has never been one with mercy. He had the great achieevement to establish the first chinese empire indeed, but it was with countless victims till his death. And he was crazy about having a long life, basically to be immortal. He is one of the cruellest king in the history, who would annihilate the whole village just for a rumour.

after viewing this historic drama for the second time I have absolute respect for the scriptwriters who managed to link so many emotions, characters and interests into a bloodcurdling final encounter . the building of one great Chin empire was forged by the suffering and blood of the people's who today are one under a big Chinese umbrella with an abundant and prosperous cultural wealth no emperor could destroy.

Why no one talking about king acting , I think he done an excellent job😍

It's the most justified and perfect ending - all intelligent people can understand it and all sentimental people will hate it. What we must applaud is Zhang Bin Bin's acting skills that rule this show and makes it worthwhile. 👏 I love Vin Zhang so I really don't care about which character dies as long as it's not him.😂 Jokes apart, the ending teaches us to be compassionate and trust the people we love, Li'er died to make Ying Zheng understand the pain of losing a loved one, Moreover it's worse if you're the one who killed your loved one. Living with the guilt of killing the person you love the most is worse than death itself!

it really is a masterpiece, she sacrificed to much its because of she these men accomplished their destiny, even though he is a good king because of his plan for peace but the king never felt love and trust so he only knows war as a solution and killing

Li'er is just an unbelievable person,-- noble, honest, protecting the weak with her own life. And the king was obsessed with power and the need to punish those who hurt him when he was young. I am just amazed by Li'er's ability to be loyal to him and show compassion and even love in spite of the brutal way he forced her into the palace, slowly poisoning her beloved and that after his life was saved by her twice. She did not even want to kill him at the end, in spite of everything, which includes him killing Jing Ke, trying to kill Tian Ming, and killing Han Shen. Also killing countless people with wars and bringing suffering to the conquered states. She really is the most remarkable person of all amazing characters in the movie.

I feel satisfied with the ending because eventually you reap what you sow. He suffered at the end which is will be the end result in a greed for power. There is no place for true love in this story.

In defense of this drama I could totally agree with the ending.. It made everything realistic.. For everyone who questioned the kings love for li I could totally understand all of you but having watch a lot of historical drama made me realize that love was never the only thing that a king wants yes he indeed look foolish but he was born to have whatever he wants. A king never had to begged for anyone's affection anyone would be lucky enough to become a mistress. The ending gave so much justice for the plot that the writers and directors tried to achieve. She was still inlove with someone or atleast have parts of her that long and wish for her freedom but then she learned to love the king but the king had so many doubts in which ofc we cant blame him bc there are also ppl who are against him. The point is the drama wasnt really focus on the king but to Li i think she wanted to die in the end because she wouldnt be able to live knowing that the ppl who loved her died. The king must continue to be a king. Aside from anyone the only thing that he should care about is the people of his state.

This is after all base on China's History. Reality is quite different from drama unfortunately. I think the ending done by the writers is good. Sad to see all of the beloved characters died though. But watching the BTS will help heal the sadness. :) Hoping to see Dilbara and Zhang in future drama with a happy ending. :)

This is best, most epic and beautifully poetic ending even if its sad. Just a side note i love how Gongsun Li is wearing her colour Orange again. Its the colour we were introduced to her through when she was with her grandfather and seniors when she fought for the people. When she went to the palace she wore a lot of reds and white to show she belongs to the king(which are the colours he wore a lot too and no other concubine wore those colours) but later on when she starts to see Ying Zheng for who he really is she wears a lot of whites to show she wasn't corrupted by the palace and finally she wears orange to symbolise she has returned to her innocent and whole self in even if she is wearing emperial concubine robes. Just my silly over observation on clothes when it probably wasnt even that deep😅🙊🤭

The ending is really sad, but they based the story on historical facts: Jing ke wasn‘t able to kill the king and had to be killed; yin zheng never appointed a queen; and the makers stayed true to the fact that one of the most prominent character traits of the qin emperor was mistrusting everyone which ultimately lead to his downfall. And the qin emperor was known to be one of the greatest but also cruelest monarch of chinese ancient history, but zhang bin bin could still make him so likeable... great acting!!

I don't think Jing ke or Li actual historical character. If Li truly existed, that's probably the only woman king ever loved as historically speaking he hated women thanks to his mother.

Fun facts: 1. 'Jing Ke' is actually a real character, a very brave warrior who tried to assassinate the King who was the ruler of the six states 2. Fan was actually a military officers who had presented his head as sacrifice. The complete ending fight was real 3. King stabed Jing ke 8 times by sword 4. King actually had more than 2000 concubine and wives. And a row of heirs 5. Li Si at the end actually was turns out to be the biggest villain. He altered the will of the king and instead of making FuSu the king made the weakest son of the King as new ruler and eventually become one of the reason of the fall of the empire.

Unfortunately this is life...... what is love without trust and respect ?

In the end, the moral of the story is: Know your enemy, know yourself. Even with good kungfu skill, it doesn’t mean that you’ll win. Jing ke biggest mistake in here is he underestimated the King ability and have let his guard down. If he know his enemy well, he should have guess that poison may be used because it was a common weapon among the royalties then. So it’s not surprising. The king is the emperor who unites China. If he’s that easy to handle, he wouldn’t b the one who unites China

Jing ke knew that his death was certain. even if he killed king, he can't come out. He still went ahead with it as he carried expectations of weaker state of Yan which king wanted to annex. Also, Jing had his personal enmity involved as is shown here. He willingly chose death. IMO, he was already dead with losing Li.

Being a major history buff, I saw all of this coming and couldn't be happier with the ending. It was so well set-up and aligned so completely with historian's writings, I could easily imagine Qin Shi Huang exactly like this. My only complaints are their lack of musical variety and unnecessary flashbacks. The pacing wasn't the best either but overall, excellent show.

How I love the ending writer made the ryt choice .. King does not know how to love.. it was completely an obsession from the start. Love is to trust.. Love is acceptance and Love is made to be selfless. King is only obsessed with her. Madam Li made the right decission. Now she's free from someone she love thats only gives her hatreds and loneliness ..this is the first drama that has a tragic ending that I watched made me satisfied 😙😙😙

Li'er's last words to the king before she died shows that she still loves Jing Ke more than her love for the King.

This is a very sad ending but it also has lesson. A king should really be powerful and respected but his way of achieving those is wrong. He wanted to be feared to protect those he wanted to protect but he lost them in the end because of his lack of trust and compassion. A king should be tough and strong but he also has to have love and compassion to understand his people.

He wanted them to kill each other and end this but in the end , he didn't expect her to do this ! He thought that as he was attacking her, she too would be doing so. But in the end she died and gave him the most painful lesson one could get... To kill your loved one and at the same time carry on living. At least that is what I comprehended from the ending.

Such a sad ending. Li er did all she could to show how she loved the king but the king turned out to be a who didn't trust his woman since the beginning. He really did break my heart. Since both Jing ke and Li er died,I think they would continue their love in peace in the afterlife. Poor Tian Ming, he would be a total orphan but at least he has the old man with excellent martial arts tho it can't be compared to that of his dad's but then I think he would also be a great person. He has lovely Lan er too. It's good the king will be alone now. It serves him right for not trusting such a humble,loving and kind woman like Li er. At the end thumbs up to the actors and actresses they did a good job though at some point things were annoying. Lol.... Dilburat and Ying did a good job,executed the story for the writer. They would be such a nice couple in real life (if that's possible ). And they will make pretty and handsome babies. Lol....

I'm new to Chinese Costume Dramas, but I am THOROUGHLY impressed by the fantastic performances, fabulous wardrobes and high quality production. THE KING'S WOMAN was an absolutely wonderful work! So glad I checked it out. Bravo to VIN ZHANG & DIRALBA DILMURAT they delivered in this production -- and I thought they were wonderful in ETERNAL LOVE as well!!! The entire cast was DID THEIR THANG!!! I boo-hooo cried (most of the time) & even laughed out loud (at some scenes). Of course I would have loved for this to have a happy ending, but after all...it's a DRAMA!!!

I like the ending, even though it was incredible sad. What I hated most about the series is that she didn't end up with Han shen, the only guy who was truly worthy of her. Jing Ke, even though she told him to trust her, he abandoned that thought 2 sec later, simply an ass. The king could not trust her even though she did everything for him, I love that she made him kill her, so that he could finally understand the feeling of losing someone you love, so that he would never kill unnessesarily again. LOVE Li, she stays true to herself throughout everything, she told the king from the beginning that the only person deep within her heart would be Jing Ke, and that stayed true to the end. But she felt pity for the king, and wanted to heal him, and in some ways she loved him as well, but not in the same way she Loved Jing Ke. She told Han Shen that she loved the king only to make him leave, she didn't want to keep him in the palace since he only did it for her, and she realised that the only way to make him leave, was to tell him that she loved the king. She knew she could never escape the palace, the King made sure to show her what would happen if she tried. So she made the most of it, and tried to love him, found the redemable parts of him and stuck to that.

Love the series, love the ending. So many lessons to be learned from Li Er's character and sacrifice. Love doesn't change a person, and the best way to teach a person a lesson is to let them learn from their own experiences. Now the king will understand what all the person's families that he had killed were going through...... he will finally feel how his mother felt when the ones she loved was brutally killed by his hands. I agree with everyone that now he has to live with the fact that the only person he loved and experienced love with was slain by his own hands......

I love the ending it really prove what real love is, Madame Li she do love her senior so much as well to the King but she realized that the King didn't even trust her,it really hurt if love without trust.It really make sense the last part because the true lover died together i.e Jingke n Cungsun Li.😊

Jing ke did not win to kill the king bcoz his body is already poison,,but towards lier Jing ke is the only man in her hearts until the end..thanks for uploading this cdrama it's very interesting to watch❤️❤️❤️2020

Great story. Sad ending. Well delivered message. All the riches in the world and power can't buy love. Love triumphs all. Her death symbolized her loyalty and dying love toward the dead MC. The reason why she avoided stabbing the king is because she wanted him to feel the pain of losing someone he loved. The pain of living is greater than death. Yet at the same time she still cared and loved him. I thought she loved him more as a brother than a lover. These are the two reason why she didn't kill him. While in the perspective of the emperor himself there was no choice. He had to kill her. If not there might had been a revolt that will lead to innocent blood shed. The emperor job is to care for the nation above else.

He has to sacrifice his greatest love for the sake of the State of Qin and his ultimate goal to unite the states and become as one empire...and peace will prevail because there will be no factions of power, and with peace will come prosperity. He was misunderstood. But, to get to his ultimate goal, he is willing to make sacrifices, personal or otherwise. Very sad on his part.

This is my first Chinese drama and it made me cry... Very sad Ending... made me cry for Han Shen and Lan'er ....they both deserve love😭

I'm still reeling from all the emotions and i'm writing what i can but MAN, THIS WAS SO GOOD!! They could mantain the tension through the entire episode. wow. Ying Zheng, Ying Zheng, he got what he wanted in the end. He sacrificed everything and everyone to get what he wanted, he did not even hesitate while running to Li Ji. He predicted he'd be all alone and he was right! He has the world but no more Li'er. And Li Ji. I really really loved her. She was compassionate and selfless, you have to respect that. She never belonged in the palace, and my theory is that she knew she was not going to leave that place alive since the first moment she stepped into the palace. And yet, she was brave. The worst part was the betrayal of Qin Er. My heart hurts. Ouch. A memorable ending. I enjoyed it so much.

The drama also teaches us that however much you try to take care of a young lion cub,when it grows with time,it's thirst for blood increases as in the case where the king's life is saved and shown hospitality by Li when they were both children

If you want to watch why the King is this way and his relationship with Lu Bu Wei and his mother, then watch "The Legend of Haolan" It's on Prime. It shows the life of his mother long before he was born.

Jing ke and Li er are meant to each other bcuz until the end of their lives still together. That's LOVE....

Correct. I would like to watch she and Jing ke happily together. Jing ke was the Unluckiest person in whole drama. He had to be snatched away his beloved by wrong means of King. He has to breath into hatred and guilt, even he never did anything wrong. He had Li er in heart always but he could not do all things with her what they Planned together to live happily. He had to convert into a killer from a warrior because of The king's brutality. nor he was lucky enough to spend time with li er as Hen shan did. Neither He could see his son's face. In the end, he had to die because of a day when the King meet both of them in Hendan. *An unlucky day changed his everything* I really love Jing ke most if i would have to choose, I would have choose my first love Jing ke.

Not being Chinese, this drama made me read more about the real Qin Shi Huang who achieved his goal of unifying China. The drama seems to be loosely based on his story. The actor Vin portrayed the real king to be more sympathetic and likable to a degree than probably the reality because of Vin’s good looks and acting. The real life king started the Great Wall and had those Terra-cotta Army in his tomb. Now I understand why the drama ended the way it did. Amazing!

Asian dramas tend to do this in general. Another example of this is the Crowned Clown. It’s a Korean loosely based historical drama based on fascinating rumours about one of Korea’s rulers during the Joseon period and an adaptation to Masquerade. It is a really good show though I’d definitely recommend it.

I did the research too - way back around episode 5. So I knew what was going to happen. And I agree. This drama was kind in its depiction of the 1st emperor. The real dude was not the nicest person.

This episode have my heart so broken. Still love to see again and again.

If you love someone. Let her happy. Not suffering. That king is selfis.

I am from India and one of the best overseas TV drama I have ever seen. I loved every character, their acting, specially king and the way he loved Li Er, I can't even pronounce their name properly (as its in Chinese) but believe me I love this Drama. God bless the entire team and the Director. Yes end was very sad and tears roll down from my eyes

For those who are saying that the king doesn't really love Li Er because he killed her, The king intended to die together with Li Er but unpredictably Li Er didn't pierce her dagger

Good drama but too much unnecessary repeated flashbacks!!

The wish. Two had no regrets reaching their wishes. But the King's wish to be feared to protect someone he loves.. he just didn't know when to stop and learn to trust their loved ones. Overall, the actors, actresses, wardrobe, scenery and music etc were captivating. Thank you writers!!!

The only person who truly cared about her well being and her heart was Han Shen. His love and only his was genuine. Li Er aked him to not tell Jing Ke the truth and although he did not agree he respected her wishes and only disregard when he taught telling Jing the truth could SAVE LI ER AND TIAN MING. Jing Ke had multiple opportunities to put aside everything and be there. Honestly he never loved her enough from day one or else he would have compromised. The king, from start for him, it was only infatuation, lust, greed and obsession. He was a positive piece of work. Really sad that Li Er died in the end but it was a worthy sacrifice. Ying Zhing needed to feel what it felt like to lose a love one, especially by his own hands. Li Er is the actual hero of the story in my totally bias opinion. Not only is she a certified Yam head. But so darn selfless caring and understanding. We all can agree that not every female can sacrifice their own happiness for a guy she knew would never be her's and at the midst of uncertainties Li Er and Jing Ke's child was her main concern. The way the series ended left alot of uncertainties but overall it taught life long lessons to who realise them.

In the end, the king was overpowered by his "fatal weaknesses" he once told Li Er at one episode (Episode 26: 17th minute) --- "Doubt, Jealousy, Ungenerous & Coldhearted" . Doubt because he has not fully trusted Li Er's love for him. Jealous of Jing Ke & Li Er's past relationship. Him being ungenerous and coldhearted that made him a vile person. It's sad that Li Er's love for him (while she was alive) was not enough to make him change or soften his character. It's also very heartbreaking that only after he has struck his sword at Li Er (up until that moment, he has not trusted Li Er 💔😭) was he able to realize that Li Er's love for him was true.

Yes, sometimes love doesn't change people; they need to make the decision to change themselves. Love can show others that they need to change, but in the end, the person needs to make the decision, and I feel that Ying Zheng didn't follow Li'Er's lead by opening up and really wanting to do what's just. And yes, the fact that he never fully trusted Li'Er until the end, even after she proved herself to him over and over, breaks my heart, too. Only when he loses someone he truly loves, only then can he say what love really is and its power.

Interestingly, Li'er for all that ye claimed never pnce mentioned him or reassure him of her love..... instead, she continued to do things that will make the king doubt her

pretty good acting. vin zhang is a class of his own.

Li Er does'nt want Jing Ke to die but she is totally ok with the knowledge that Jing Ke is planning to assassinate the King. She said she love him but in the end she love's Jing Ke more.

The drama was best. Only the person who truly loved Li Er was Han Shen ,he protected her and her son even on the verge of death and died protecting her son . Though Jin ki loved her but he didn't trust her. King never loved her it was just possession. He never loved and trusted her from the very beginning and the shame is that he even killed her with out thinking about her even once

So sad to see Ying Zheng never truly change... and how infuriating to keep hearing him tell Li'Er he loved her while proving once and for all that he didn't know what love was. If anything, all he really loved was himself. 😢😭 I also wish they would have shown Li'Er, Jing Ke, and Han Shen meeting again in the afterlife. 😞

I liked it too. the movie is great. in my opinion, the king really love Li'er so much to the point of obsession. Due to extreme jealousy at the ending, the king wasn't thinking straight. His anger made him kill Li'er because he knows that he will die also in the hands of his only love. He would rather they die together. Little did he suspect that Madame Li, true to the end, loves him so, that she will never hurt him for the world. The story is great. It only shows the near-to-reality lives & loves of royalties, emperor, kings, queens-only it was created with such grandiose, drama, romance, what-have-yous, to cater to the most artistic & romantic. I love the movie. It's a collector's item for me..

Nope. Ying zheng is NoT the Romeo. And he is definitely NOT the Hero. He is Antagonist. The REAL "Villain" in this story, who forcing Juliet to separate from her Romeo. So Juliet, in order to protect her precious Romeo & their son, has submit to this "Villain", Ying Zheng as his Concubine (aka. King's Woman). And in the process suffer from "THOUGHT DISORDER" or "SCHIZOPHRENIA". Caused by Depression because of her being forced to separate from Romeo and misses him so much!!! This is not her having a stockholm syndrome and falling in love with her captors or abusers, but instead, she becomes DELUSIONAL cause by THOUGHT DISORDER and subconsciously transferring/channeling/Replacing her love or loneliness from the "Hero" to the "Villain". The TRUE "Hero" in this story is Jing Ke. He is the actual Romeo who die together with his Juliet, Li'er, who follow her Romeo, Jing Ke to death. It's a "Double Suicide Scenario" with the both of them allowing themselves to be killed by the King's Sword 👍🔪🗡⚔🪚

The death of Jan shen was too painful... He is the only one who deserves her love and truly loves her..... The ending has an important lesson.... Nice drama

Han Shen....his love for Li'er was so beautiful. He was the only one who loved her unconditionally.

Lady Li, she's the Queen, and it is the right thing to do. She still stayed loyal to the king's goal, even if she loved somebody else. There's no other better ending for this story than this. EXCELLENT!

Love without trust is meaningless, so sad ending i thought the 3 of them full support to unite their country at peace but it ends ends with terrifying sorrow💔 losing the one you love at your hand is the worst thing, Li er made the King realized how it feels losing someone you love broke your heart into tiny pieces, I just feel sad maybe if Li’er didn’t do something to reconnect with Jing maybe she earned the Kings trust. I understand the Kings feeling since he was young he was bullied by others almost killed that’s why he become a stone heartless person they criticized him since he was at young age so he become a cold hearted push him into heartless doing.Three of them have a selfish heart am just pitiful of little Tian Ming he didn’t even meet his biological father, also for Han his the one with no selfish heart he did everything for Li’er “purist love” he sucrifice himself for Li’ers sake without doubt. The ending made my heart burst 💔💔💔somehow the story have many lesson to everyone, this is the only one Miss Dilraba movie that i watched so sad ending “ if you do love someone do it trust them without doubt “

Watching episode 1 was very awesome and I did not want to stop watching till I had finished all episodes.. hence now that im watching the last episode, I feel extremely sad.. It was not an ending I was really looking forward too.. but that king is really one kind of a dumb heartless pig..

Li Er had 2 wonderful men that really loved her both were her Senior & family. she loved Han Shan as a big brother he loved her as a woman. Jing Ke loved her as a young man but was too immature to understand the sacrifices she made for him. No words to say about that EVIL, MOST SELFISH KING. He just never knew what true love was. I hate endings like this.

Well it's pretty hard to imagine a happy ending with the king's character. A happy ending after all the killing he did would not be appropriate. He also did not deserve her.

The ending kills me but I understand that it had to be that way. 💕 I also hate that Jing Ke and Li Er never got to be happy in life, but they both died together, so at least they were together in death. I love this show but man does it give me heartburn. 😔💔💗

He had to convert into a killer from a warrior because of The king's brutality. nor he was lucky enough to spend time with li er as Hen shan did. Neither He could see his son's face. In the end, he had to die because of a day when the King meet both of them in Hendan. *An unlucky day changed his everything* I really love Jing ke most if i would have to choose, I would have choose my first love Jing ke.

A very entertaining ,handsome and pretty lead stars,especially vin zhang who brilliantly delivered a great performance as an actor👏.. there s a sense of patriotic and chivalrous characters in the story,kudos to all the cast...another a must watch drama series..thank for the English subtitle

I wonder why I feel so empty after watching this drama. I really loved the story and all the action.

Though the ending breaks my heart and make my tearducts sensitive.. It is acceptable for me. The only way he could understand others was for him to lose the one he loved and treasured most. The feeling of you'd rather want to be the one to die than seeing you're love of your life be dead. All his five concubines that been aired died. 🙄 Funny scene, Li'er defeated all those guards by just smacking their helmit(whatever you call on it🤣✌️) or their metal/iron war geared/uniform. I'll gonna missed them. 😭 Especially, Jing Ke.🙈🙊😁 Li'er is an epitome of gorgeous. The story/TV series gives a lot of moral lessons.

What the queen did in the end was really nice because to know him that when your loved ones die how do they feel. I thanks to the director who made this c drama.happy and a sad ending🙂😭

Deeply appreciate the way they act, The King, Jingke and Deliraba Dilmurat. I just follow Binbin, and Delraba CDRAMA...they are super actors and actress...I love it...

Jin and lir did not die in vain ,they have son ,I love the ending

Such a powerful drama. Full of emotion! In everyone and everything, down to the servants. Magnificent set, beautiful costumes, excellent acting! And its such a perfect fabric woven with fact and fiction, that you almost want to believe the fictional part is also true. I just wish they have added a few minutes to show his maniac rampage of unification, what became of tian ming and emperor's demise, insane and all. But even as it is, this is a very beautiful work of art.

Finished the show. Final thoughts... This is a stand-off between two of China's major philosophies: Legalism vs Mohism, i.e., universal fear vs universal love. Ironically, Legalism and Mohism were only mentioned in passing during the entire show. Takeaway: In the real world, fear unfortunately always trumps love in a confrontation.

I think this only not tell a happy ending but a life and moral lesson of past and present days. It's not to satisfy or pleasure us but to teach us life lesson. 😎👏
