Basically the king kills her, not because he didn’t love her enough , he loved her with all his heart, but because he still couldn’t trust her and he planned to die with her when he killed her but instead he ended up living, he spent the rest of his life alone and I believe only after he killed her he realized and recognized that her love and trust for him was genuine and that he regretted for what he did to her and other things. So I believe he killing her and ending up alone was his punishment for what he did and I’m also guessing that was also her punishment she gave to him for not trusting her. So I’m going say even tho it’s a sad tragedy love Story it’s the best ending for this drama and that’s also why the drama is called the king’s woman because in the end she did in fact become his women not because he held her and her son hostage but because she did fall madly in love with him even when he killed her, she accepted her fate.❤️🥺😭
