    I grew up as an athlete playing ice hockey, and as an adult stopped playing competitive sports and took up running and weight lifting. It is in my blood to always be moving, i dont know what i would do without running. Best thing in my life and its free.

    @@juandoe1450 🙌🙌 go get it mate. Im still going strong, full steam rolling - its not hard and you definitely get used to it after 3 days. First 3 days of quitting anything that is of a routine is difficult, similarly you shouldn't go 2-3 days without running to drive that to become your routine. Best of luck.

    I'm a pretty active runner/other exercises and also eat clean, I had covid 2 weeks ago and my immune system fought it off pretty quickly I always tell people exercise can be a life saver not just against these deadly viruses but everything you might be struggling with like stress and anxiety trust me living healthy long as you can makes life on this earth more comfortable and less doctor visits.

    Totally true... I used to get a cold everytime the winter and the spring started, it was like a rule.. sore throoat, running nose and all that... Then I started jogging and I didn't do something too crazy, maximum 3-4 times per month but boy it did wonders. Didn't get sick since then.

    Yes. It is very good. Walking instead of running one lap let's say, will refresh your stamina. Let's say you do 5 laps and you start to feel very tired. Well you can try doing the 6th one walking and then start running again and see how it goes. For me it usually works. Now be careful, if you feel your knee or feet injured you should stop running imediately.. If not, it will only worsen your injury. But the shortess of breath or tiredness in feets are ok and normal, especially if you started to run recently.

    Don't forget and underestimate saturated animal fat and meat (chicken, beef, veal, fish), we need it for recovery as well. just don't over do it. Hydration also is important so i recommend raw milk, and otherwise waterrich fruits.

    okay I call bullshit because during this covid pandemic it was announced in the news that many professional athletes tested positive for covid and had no symptoms, and it was less than a week that they tested negative for covid because of all the intense exercise they do. This professional athletes included MMA fighters, boxers, NBA players, NFL players and runners. So I'm a bit confused on this explanation in the immune system.

  • @UTAH100

    @UTAH100

    Yes- I don't agree that intense exercise lowers your immune system. It was one study out of thousands that probably show the opposite. Sure, you can get tired and possibly vulnerable in a short window after (probably his point), but so what? With a great meal and good nights sleep, I guarantee you are stronger for it overall the next day. I live near an Ivy league school and would pass the students every day (2x) going to and from the office. I observed for almost 2 years that they were out there, rain or shine, even in weather as cold as 40 degrees F. Most of the time they were wearing shorts! They work out intensely as many are also cross-training for crew/rowing. They appear to stay quite healthy physically and mentally. I also doubt that their overpriced college food is that great either. Bottom line, I think he should have emphasized the positive benefits more vs. scaring people to not work out hard. Of course everything within reason- you can run yourself down if you workout 2x a day 7 days a week. Then again, I doubt anyone would call a Navy Seal sickly. Their workout routine is beyond intense and they rarely get sick. I'm sure the Navy has the best researchers and docs on staff. If it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me. I'll use common sense, but despite his research, I will not be afraid to break a sweat.

    @@UTAH100 just saying I’ve heard cardio really increases you immune system. NBA ballers run all the time and don’t even know they have covid and refuse to get the vaccine. The thing with cardio is that it increases the metabolism and heat inside the body killings all the toxins and pissing out all the bad shit also sweating it out. Eating healthy is always important, but I think exercise just rebuilds your DNA

    A tip: take glutamine supplement after training. After training, glutamine needs to go to the muscles to repair themselves, but your body can’t produce more glutamine, so less glutamine is available for the rest of the body to boost immune system. If you take glutamine supplement, you’re not gonna have weak immune system after a training.
