Disc Golf in 2023 is filled with new players. Hopefully this new series will help new players see what options they have for starter sets. Along with playing a round with the sets, we will review the discs from our perspective so the viewer can form their own opinion. In the first episode we put the Innova disc golf starter set and the Axiom discs disc golf starter set up for review!

Axiom had a starter set all in premium plastics that have an envy a hex and a rhythm all for 40 bucks.... best starter set ever.

I think you said it right the Innova starter set is definitely for a child very very uncontrollable and light. Axiom is a great starter set.

I know I’m not Paul McBeth or anything, but those discs were hard to throw man. 😂
These sets definitely sound great for a beginner, I have buddies just starting and they have little spin, not much power(still learning fundamentals) and throw hard hyzers. These would help fix those problems so they can have fun while learning
My 8 year old son would love the Innova starter set. He played his first tournament last weekend and his favourite disc is his beat up DX Leopard! Thanks for the awesome video and contest. You guys are very entertaining with super fun content!

Is there a better starter set you’d recommend over Axiom? Or what are some discs you’d hand pick out to build your first set? Just getting started. I can throw pretty well and pretty hard so just trying to build out a solid starter set

Axiom has honestly been one of the best I’ve found. It also wouldn’t hurt to try out prodigy’s starter set. Driver is a tough more flippy, but the F7 shouldn’t burn into the ground for you.
Thanks helping a friend getting into disc an he has been trying to learn but he is a lefty so sorta hard to teach lol
