love the starter pack series ...how about one where you each pick a company and 3 discs for a starter challenge. Then each get a newbie and it's a doubles to see if you can find a set good for a new player and one who's played a while. Also like the crown me set for a dad and kid just wanting to test the water. Maybe they don't have a store around them to pick up used ones.

My uncle got me some crown me discs, it was just the adventure starter set, the driver and putter were actually pretty good, but the mid beats in very easily and then loses its overstability

I'm a fan of the starter set videos. Menards has a starter set called ESP. 3 discs for like $9.

You guys should try out the Franklin disc golf set, I bought their cheap basket and it came with them and they are some interesting discs to say the least. Love all the content guys keep it up

Y’all need to try the WEN JIAN starter set. The mid-range is the most Flippy discs ever!!

My 1st time playing disc golf, towards the end of last year, my buddy let me use a starter set he got for his kids. Think it was called "Faster Disc". I actually played ok with it. But then again I had no clue what I was doing at the time. Plastic is made of...idk...something. They shred apart if you hit a tree. That set also came with a Polecat lid. 😂 Discs don't have cool names like these do. Every disc has the same corny Tribal ring and says Faster Disc Golf inside the circle. Comes with 6 discs, two of each(so you guys would get to throw the exact same discs), a mini, and a bag.

I've looked into this company before, and I believe most or all of these discs are approved by the PDGA.

I bought that set some time ago as a beginner, i called the yellow driver a stag and used it for some time. The other discs were not really useful, but its a great value started pack for people playing in countries where you cant buy discs at stores or on local websites.

Can we get a new version of this same challenge by you guys building your own starter sets out of what you have in the used bin, swapping those sets with each other, then playing a round with those discs? No limit on the amount of discs, no requirements on plastic types or manufacturers

Honestly, out of the starter sets I’ve tried (usually just for fun), these have definitely been on the better/useable side. Not including actual disc golf companies. I would love to see y’all put out your own starter sets or mystery boxes. Even just limited runs I know would sell instantly

When i was first getting into disc golf like six months ago, i actually bought this exact starter set off of Amazon and i still use the Morning Time to Play disc to this day. It's actually one of my favorite mid ranges to use!! My nickname for it is the "Red Rooster" 😅

This was a funny episode 😂 10/10 would watch again.

I actually started out with this set and bought one for my son the funny thing is my be free is stamped as a midrange and his is a putter same with the morning rooster mine is stamped as a putter his is a mid range lol other than that gotta say pretty decent discs for what they are they are and to this day still have a few in my bag

My mom got me a practice basket for my birthday last year and it came with three of those Crown Me discs. None had a name, they only say the kind of disc, and the crown me logo. The best part is that the putter days midrange and the mid says putter.

My brother in-law sent me a 3 disc starter set and a basket from crown me. The discs were way worse that what it looks like you guys got here and went straight into the garbage. Huge surprise is the basket is on par or better than any of the mid level practice baskets I've used.

Franklin disc golf starter set!

You guys should make a starter set, you have the access to all the discs and should just offer the best discs for beginners. Like a Pure, Sol, and Crave. Doesn't have to be all one manufacturer so beginners can realize there is more than just one company. I think it would be a great idea, please steal it lol

They are actually great and a real manufacturer that seems to have gotten stuck for a while, it would be more interesting to see some if their disc reviewed for reals :P The Rune, Knife, Loki, Cosmos, Berserker and Valhalla is in my actual bag, great plasic for the price living in Sweden and importing from Finland ^_^ )

Have you ever used a T-Bone? I have one that makes a popping noise when you press down on the center.

You guys should do the VR challenge again but instead you have the other person hold the camera and point it at you so essentially you are watching yourself throw the shot, that would be sick and probably semi playable

Same ... when i first started i threw forehand for all my drives and i still have scars from the blisters on my finger from those drivers... They are sharp lol
