This was the set I started with and I was not a fan of the stability as a beginner but I was impressed with the quality for the value! Also the fish names and stamps are what XCOM discs used to be branded as.

Great video. I'm glad you emphasized this "beginner starter set" is not beginner-friendly. I think some starter sets have discs that are too heavy and too stable for beginners.

Except it wasn't accurate. Orcas are in the same family as dolphins but both are still under the umbrella of what is technically considered a whale. I got this set as a starter set and i honestly love how they play! Im a new player but the feel of the disc have a higher quality then other starter sets I have come across. Love the dual set so my wife and I can learn the game together.

8:00 & 8:09 had me tripping , but think that's an editing hiccup unless Hunter just that consistent

Have you tried the Remix starter set yet? It’s MVPs Amazon brand. MVP plastic for 1/3 of the price of a MVP brand disc. And the molds are basically mint, tsa and mvp molds

Saw the XCom colors for baseplastic directly! Bagging a Premium or Glow Premium XPT2/Griffon (nice looking stamp on the glow!), holds lines well if not in a headwind. Bought it when the Fuse disagreed when to flip and not, not looked back yet =)

You guys are the reason I got back into disc golf I just got a Luna putter / streamline pilot in soft/mako3 and a big z buzz can you guys do a recommendation video ?

The Bennu is a workhorse. It's my go to putter approach

I will say this. This is a great starter set for you guys. Its not a hood starter set for real beginners unless they love forehands. These are too stable (outside of the putter) for beginners. A perfect beginner set would be someyhing like a P2, Uplink, River Opto Air

I found a Grampus in a creek at the Highland Brewing Company disc golf course in Asheville, NC. I was so confused by the name and who the company was. It’s somewhere buried in my garage. This is the second time I’ve seen one.

Once they release the fairway driver, they'll have 3 discs and they can do a starter set. I don't know how hard it would be to dye/marker large quantities of discs (because stamps make a disc harder to recycle), but a Foundation-branded starter set is a good idea
