Aim BETTER after this video | Disc Golf Basics
Спорт
In this video we´re going over the basics of aiming in disc golf. There are a lot of variables to take into account like wind, trees and of axis torque. But we, as in Johannes, tried to narrow it down to the most important parts. Might also be a good idea to check out there videos:

Hey! Here's some very nice stuff for you 😀🤘 /Jonathan bit.ly/47CrPnG
I was practicing throwing some unknown disc on my farm and I threw a very high shot on a windy day and it landed on the roof of the building where I feed my horses. I came to the conclusion that the disc is now over stable.

honestly, ive been playing for 3 1/2 years, only course in my city has water on 6 of 18 holes. ive lost so many discs and just never bought the same one and honestly now wishing i had because i only have 3-4 discs in my bag that i throw because theyre the ones i know how to throw. i dont even try to experiment with others and this video is gonna make me actually go learn all my discs so i stop i can be more versatile. on top of that, never having been taught to have a proper form i still round my arm, and catch my self teeing off parallel to the with the tee box, and just not thinking of a good line to throw my disc and instead just ripping it straight at the basket and more often than not ending up in the trees or water. so even with experience. this video is gonna help.
The Tomas Ekstrom nemesis hole is a wonderful inside joke and I imagine he actually has a pretty good sense of humor about it he seems like a nice guy.

@@Latitude64 Some of the best disc golfers on tour (and everyone else) have trouble hitting small gaps on shorter straight shots. Not going to call anyone out, but guys lost big tournaments last year by messing up 200'-250' straight shots - a shot even many beginners could possibly throw well.

Enjoyed the tracking line on the throws, normally hard to see where the disc went. Thanks
Why does Jonathan always have such philosophical sidenotes🤣🤣 11:25 Johannes: "Here we have an open hole with endless posibilities." Jonathan: "Like life😉". Best disc golf and life advice channel on KZread😂👍

110% agree!!! I'm a big fan of metal music and all things around that style and I love that they're putting it into their disc golf videos. It's awesome!!!! Good job guys!!!!!
Jonathan "I have trust issues with my own body" -- I relate to this so much. I have trouble not staring at the basket or direction I'm throwing
"Here we have an open hole, with endless possibilities" "Yes! Like life" Not what I was expecting to hear in my frisbeegolf instruction video but always appreciated.
I like that you show what disc you're throwing along with the numbers! Thank you!
You guys are always so funny, and the tips are great. Keep it up.
You two are a fantastic team! So funny and educational.
So helpfully to see disc and shot selection together. Great video. Thank you
I absolutely love it. Very informative and easy to watch; hilarious as well! Love your content guys! :D
Good one again guys! Always something to learn and your light approach to instruction makes it fun to watch...
Probably my favourite video so far, You guys do a great job ! Informative and to the point with great banter keep it up !
I have loved this channel since its inception, and I think this might be the most useful video they have ever released. That chart Johannes had was so helpful! And I laughed out loud, as always, several times during this video. Johnathan is hilarious, and Johannes is a great straight man.
You guys are amazing. I'm loving the videos. There's lots of videos that show what you are talking about...but you all make it very understandable for beginners. Keep it up.
Probably the best video out there for the basics of how to throw different discs and when... and fun as always 👌 good job 😁
I love the production on these. excellent work. thank you, guys.
These guys are great! Thanks, for the added humor! Smiles are good!
It's really helpful to hear Johannes's thought process when picking the disc for the type of flight/approach he is desiring. Thanks for the tips!
The thing about the right foot on a line has brought the most insane changes in my game. Thank you guys 🙌🏻
This is by far one of the most helpful videos I've seen. Thank you
I laugh, I learn, I love. Its a great series and a great channel!
Y'all rock n roll👍 thank you for the expert class
I just started playing and I’m loving your videos. I’m learning a lot. Thank you.
just 42 seconds in and already had to like. you guys are helping so many people. its amazing.
Best disc golf videos on KZread, you guys kill it every time!
This is a great example of breaking down a complicated concept and teaching it at a beginner/intermediate level. Pure gold!
Again cracking video guys. you help me learn a lot!
You guys are great. Discussing are the possibilities that run through my head when I playing. Moose in the way!!Love it! .Maybe a Black Bear even.
Absolutely love your videos. As a beginner myself, I appreciate the struggles that you have because they are the same problems I am having. This video was very helpful. I am still having a very hard time with steep uphill shots. I hope you can do a video on this someday.
Another awesome video guys!! I’d love to see a video with forehand throwing. Shoulder injury makes backhand throws painful for myself Keep up the great work
My son and I just started playing a few months ago, these videos are beyond helpful. Love the content and the great advice!
Great video love the way you guys explain the game.
Guesss this the best video i’ve come up explaning the discs and different throws. Thank you guys 🇫🇮🇸🇪
This is by far the best instruction video I've seen. Your diagram was super and I'm trying to memorize it
I can just rewatch these videos over nd over nd keep learning. Also, the best music selections! 🎶 🎵 👌
You guys are really good. Thank you
I have a hard time taking my eyes off of the basket when I'm throwing! Just this week someone pointed that out to me and I've been trying to let go! I feel you Jonathan!
Good job and I will have to watch more !
couldn't agree more with all those comments, best disc golf related channel on youtube. Very entertaining but also helped me a lot with my game already. J, your woes are replicating the woes of most of us and therefore your adjustments become our adjustments. Thanks J
You guys are the best! So funny and awesome! Hope you keep enjoying this great sport and make more awesome content. We'll be here to enjoy it if you do. (Maybe a walk & play through of certain holes where you tell us your thinking or strategy for each shot, even for putts. I'd really enjoy that.)

Awesome! You are shooting 'straight' like I am. Only I've been doing it like that since the 90's... Thanks for another fun vid!
Hey, great video guys! Good fundamentals. Keep up the good work!
What a great video. I have been playing dubs with people who play much better and finally I learned how to aim and how to choose an appropriate disc. Thank you so much.
Jonathan, Keep using the tracers to track the disc's when you throw them, to see the flight paths, very helpful!!! Keep up the Awesome videos!
You're the best! Utmärkt kul!
Relatively new to disc golf but have the bug now, playing about 3x a week. Trying to get more distance and found this channel. These guys are awesome! Can’t stop watching videos, great content and fun to watch!
I live 50 meters from a small course that was buildt 2 years ago. Last year I figured I would try this, and bought a set of discs (not knowing anything about the sport). I think I Played a handful of times. So then we have this year. Working at the home office, watching some videos - and finding this chanel. So much great information. There have been several times I have taken a small break during the day, and spent half an hour on that little course. Trying to incorporate some of the information you give me. Realy inspirational! Only thing now is that I should have gotten me some Lat64 discs.
Awesome vid. Would love to see you guys do a video talking about every shot like this for a whole 9 or 18 hole round. :) Edit: Not just backhand shots but all kind of shots and what you would chose in different situations around the course.
Great video as always! One nit pick i tough of is that there is a difference between throwing a putter on hyzer and a distance driver that is not apparent on your discgolf course because of the soft grass and that is skip. If you throw a distance driver on hard ground or lots of leaves and such you can get many times longer skips with the same amount of power because the disc is flatter, so use the discs as tools and learn what your tools do:)
I think this might be the best video for explaining this I've seen. My wife and I were impressed. The questioning was good, helped us understand the explanation if that makes sense.
This is one of the greatest channels on KZread! Y'all are terrific! I learn so much, but I'm like Jonathan and have trouble doing what you teach me! Keep up the great work! I need as much help as Jonathan and maybe a little more! I can't thank you enough!

You have no idea how happy it makes me that you're using 'stable' correctly, as in straight. I hear so many people on YT using stable to mean overstable and it absolutely drives me crazy.
Nice!! Another great video, keep it up!
9:30 - Hello Jonathan! (Waves back) Fascinating that this video was suggested, when I had mentioned that this was the purpose of my field work session later today. Thanks Google.
These are great videos!

The bad poetry bit was great! 😂 You guys always remind me of how goofy Uli and Jerm are together in commentary and practice. Keep it up fellas! By the way, absolutely love my Compass. Picked it up last year in a mystery box.
I want to print Johaness drawing of the throws on a clastic 'credit card' it and carry it with me when I play (I would hang it on my bag, but I don't own yet). Then I will put one letter on each of my discs (U=understable, S=stable and O=overstable). One quick look at the card will help me select the shot and throw. The single letter on the disc will help me select the proper disc. Yes, this oversimplifies things as there are gradients of understable, stable and overstable, but the above could help me put the concepts of shot selection, then disc selection into practice (and I'm a noob with only 5 discs, so the choices are limited). It would also help if Johannes could come and throw my disc for me each time to demonstrate. You crammed so much in this video. I'll have to watch it over and over today to absorb it all. The humor or life advice (not always sure which is which) is priceless. Hopefully Jonathan's 'significant other' doesn't think his hyzer shot is pathetic, otherwise there will be another video on hyzer shots coming soon.
This teaching series is so good. As a fairly newer player, I've gained quite a lot of knowledge from these. Also I need to know where you get your outro music from, because I really enjoy it.
This is a most excellent video
Great video 👊
