Just a warning note: Some years back my mother ended up in the hospital with classic gallbladder symptoms. All the imaging didn't reveal gallstones so their plan was to send my 80 y/o mother home on pain management. I like to had a fit. I did my own research and discovered a little known gallbladder issue that primarily occurs in elderly women where the gallbladder twists and it does NOT show up on imaging. I contacted the Director of Nursing and told her that my mother was going home on pain management over my dead body. The surgeon called and I explained to him what I had discovered in my research. He kind of blew past that but said he had consulted with her cardiologist and he would operate. After the surgery he came out with a bemused expression and said: "It was kind of just twisted up in there". BINGO I replied... If I had accepted their findings, my mother would have gone home, gone septic and died. If you have elderly family members who have gallbladder issues with no stones, inform their doctor, and if they ignore you, fire them and get another.

The problem is, Doctors are not Gastroenterologists. Certain Gastroenterologists specializes in Gallbladder Obstructions, without the use of Surgery. Surgeons want to just cut it out, Gastroenterologist instead Run a (EUS) Endoscopic Ultrasound from inside the Stomach, and also perform an ERCP to remove the Stones, while inside the Stomach, and locate the Bile Duct by the Duodenum, and remove each one without any cutting, leaving the Gallbladder untouched. Stones do not show up on CT Scan most of the time, I know, because they didn't show up on my CT Results either. Before any Procedure can be performed, you need to get an (MRI)-MRCP to efficiently diagnose Gallstones, and any other Biliary Issues, because the MRCP picks up more than just the Stones, thanks, I hope this helps.

I had gallstones in the December 2014. I felt sick after eating fatty food. One night after another big meal i had such a pain under my rib that i had to call 911 to come and get me to the hospital. In the hospital i got injected with morphine and i felt so much better but i had to stay in the hospital for 5 days. It was 2 days before Christmas. Doc told me they need to remove my gallbladder after the holidays cause he is leaving to Europe for Xmas. After the holidays i felt better so i let it go and never showed up at the docs office. 5 months later i ended up in the hospital again. This time with Pancreatitis. The stones left my gallbladder and got stuck in a bile duct. So removal oF my GB was no longer needed. Doc put me under anesthesia and put a long tube in my mouth all the way to my stomach where they pushed my 3 stones into my intestines . I flushed them out later. So i got to keep my gallbladder and im perfectly fine for 9 years already 😊

Wonderful to know this ❤️. I too had an experience like this, but didn't involve hospitalisation the second time. I drank apple juice for 2 weeks continuously and suddenly the stone started moving and got stuck in the middle of my stomach below the rib cage. I kept massaging it and it felt like I was swallowing it down. And it felt like a rebirth literally. i have one more, so I'll probably do the same soon and get it over with. Good to know.

Dr Bergs notes shared: It turns out that the most common symptom of gallstones is having no symptoms at all. 80% of people with gallstones don’t experience any symptoms until the situation worsens. Other symptoms of gallstones or a gallbladder problem: • Pain or tightness under the right ribcage • Pain under the right rhomboid • Pain in the neck that runs up the side of the face • Nausea • Vomiting • Bloating • Belching • Jaundice • Dark urine • Pale stool Gallstones can form when a person has high cholesterol and a lack of bile. Bile helps thin and eliminate cholesterol. A deficiency of bile is the real problem. The gallbladder is an important organ that helps you store and concentrate bile and absorb fat-soluble nutrients. Bile sludge is a common problem that can also cause pain, even when there aren’t any stones. Bile sludge can occur at different times but can be a complication after having your gallbladder removed, causing some of the same symptoms that lead you to have surgery. Risk factors for getting gallstones: • Pregnancy • Birth control pills • Obesity • Type-2 diabetes • Liver disease • Constipation • Low folate • Taking PPIs • Consuming a high-carb diet • Consuming a low-fat diet Natural ways to help get rid of gallstones: 1. Take purified bile salts and probiotics 2. Consume salad 3. Use acupressure 4. Decrease your insulin (do intermittent fasting and go on the keto diet) Thank you Dr Berg! 🐱👍🏿

I've had gallstones, and everything Dr. Berg said is true. This happened in 2013 when I was only 20 years old. I remember thinking it was very serious because I had no idea what it could have be plus I was very young. A few days later I had my gallbladder removed, and some days before this I went to the clinic, just before my appointment I was in the bathroom and noticed my eyes were yellow, Jaundice in other words. A bit later the "doctor" asked if I was depressed, I said no not really, I said that my eyes were yellow in color he then googles "Yellow Eyes" how he got through medicine school is the greatest mystery ever. This is still the most bisarre moment of my life.

So timely! Earlier this week my husband was diagnosed with gallstones and the Dr immediately wanted to schedule for surgery. We put the brakes on it. We had cut sugar out, low carb not keto and do intermittent fasting now. First thing we said to each other was “lets see what Dr. Berg has to say”. Hopefully the bile salt will make the difference. Interesting how the scheduler said “oh you don’t need your gallbladder, I don’t have mine. But then shared story about how badly shed had pancreatitis.” We watched several other of his episodes on the gallbladder and excited to see this mornings episode was on topic for us. Congratulations on evaluating that MD’s advice… my decades long symptoms were localized itching and I never brought it up during appointments since T2D was the concern at the time. The pressure flared up after starting Keto & IF last July and I did the same as you by ‘consulting’ Dr Berg 🙂 and started a TUDCA and his GB formula therapy. The pressure became higher so I speculated the duct was obstructed and began the acupressure technique. The pressure subsided within 30 minutes. Fast forward 90 days and all the symptoms are gone. I now have reduced to a maintenance dose. I’m convinced the current standard American diet is the culprit and hearing a few researchers are petitioning a revisal but now have to contend with a multi trillion dollar food industry that will do anything to keep the money flowing their way. 😮‍💨 that went a little long winded thanks for reading and best of 2023 to you

I had seven of those ten symptoms. That's why I got online and did a sweeping search for information and help. I found your many videos, Dr. Berg. I purchased your Gall Bladder Formula and two bottles of Tudca. It doesn't work overnight. But with consistent use ( along with timing and fasting ) I was cured in about 5 to 6 weeks. Zero symptoms. The only time it comes back now is around holidays when I break routine and eat holiday foods that spike my insulin. At this point I have nearly forgotten the intense pain and discomfort I once experienced from my gall bladder. Your video reminds me though. And it is good to remember that pain and discomfort every once in a while. There is no more powerful motivator than the avoidance of that. I am grateful for your work and the work of your most excellent team, Dr. Berg. You are all in my prayers. Take care and have a great day.

I was so hopeful when ordering Dr Bergs Gallbladder Formula because it specifically states that is also for people without gallbladder. Unfortunately, it made my symptoms of acid reflux even worse. At first I thought maybe it is a coincidence and had a break for about two weeks then tried it again and the exact same symptoms came up. Unfortunately, didn't work for me at all.

@@JohnQPublic345 It feels like indigestion. Then feeling nauseous and loss of appetite. Tried to sleep, but couldn't and sweating. Went to urgent care and the doctor there pushed and moved my abdomen and I would feel some relief. This is probably due to dislodging the stone and allow urine to flow down and relieving the back pressure on the kidney. My research showed symptoms of a kidney stone. I then inverted myself with legs up in the air, having my body weight on the back of my shoulders to maybe dislodge it again. Lo and behold, I felt an instant relief and had no pain. I must have moved it to where it didn't obstruct the flow of urine down to my bladder. The CAT scan I had afterwards still showed a kidney stone in my ureter about 8 mm. luckily, it had no obstruction and I was able to have a scheduled lithotripsy to remove it. Good luck and I hope you get it resolved and recover quickly.

I suffered for 2 years, constant nausea with horrendous belching. Even though a CT scan showed gallstones, no one could diagnose it. 2 miserable years. Finally got it out, the surgeon showed me a pic, it was ready to burst. I asked repeatedly if it was my gallbladder, no one listened to me. Had problems after the removal, saw GI specialist, couldn't help. Saw a video of Dr Berg, started his gallbladder formula pills, feeling much better. Thank you Dr Berg!

I did a gallbladder flush for several years. I passed many many stones. Apple juice for 2 days, every 2 hours 8oz. At the end of the second day mix 1/2 cup olive oil& 1/2 Cup grapefruit juices- take it into your bedroom- drink it down then immediately lay on your right side. It removes sludge and stones close to the opening. You have to repeat once a month (or so) until the larger stone start to move forward. It helped me and saved my gallbladder🎉🎉

Looking forward to a video by you addressing the little-known condition of biliary hyperkinesia, or hyperactive gallbladder. The outstanding physical symptom is URQ pain virtually identical to that caused by gallstones. Similar to gallstone diagnoses, the conventional treatment for biliary hyperkinesia is removal of the gallbladder, with little or no understanding of cause and nonsurgical treatment.

My stones sizes were around 3-4 mm then my pathetic lifestyle and day night of work, not taking care of my health, increased the stones size to 15-17mm. I tried using bile salts but they gave me severe acidity. But this massage therapy no one told me, my mother has a history of gallstones. Now after surgery i have severe IBS, which i try to control with dieting and exercising.

Just 2 weeks after I gave birth to my 3rd child I began passing gall stones. Only at the time I had no idea that that’s what was happening. All I knew is that almost every day I was on the floor in complete agony! I went to the emergency room THREE times (in Syracuse NY) & they “couldn’t figure out what was wrong” even my husband asked “could it be gall or kidney stones?” They said No! The pain was so much that I was vomiting almost constantly all day long. FINALLY I went to a different ER & low & behold… they said I’ve been passing gall stones… I was passing them for such a long period of time (since the doctors at the first ER couldn’t figure it out the first few times I went) that I literally RAN OUT OF SPACE in my gall bladder & stones began piling up in my bile duct! Resulting in TWO surgeries… 1. Removal of stones from my bile duct. & 2. (Next day) removal of the gall bladdar. I now also have a permanent inflamed pancreas due to this as well. Was a whole nightmare 😣

So timely that I come across this video Dr Berg, as I'm just today completing my first liver flush and had my first experiences of what gallstones look like. One old home remedy to help dissolve gallstones over time is to take a teaspoon of olive oil. It's a small amount, and the idea is you take this small amount by itself several times a day, with at least an hour between spoons. It's understood to cause a small amount of fresh bile to be released, and this causes a little softening and erosion of the stones in the gall bladder. The goal is to soften and erode the stones until they become slushy and can pass without issues.

One week after having my daughter 31 years ago, I had a major gallstone event. The ONLY symptom was trying to toilet and going from mild discomfort to sustained high pitched screaming agony in less than one minute. Immediate hospitalization. 30 years later, this past August I had alleged constipation so severe and hideously painful that I was hospitalized two separate times for a total of 9 days. Pumped full of 5 different kinds of laxatives and IV Morephine to control the PAIN. The first symptom of that was increasing agonizing pain in my right upper back. I dont think they tested for amounts of Bile. Bowels are working again but i still have significant pain in my mid left side. Feels like i have bowling ball lodged in my intestines. When I started getting right rib pain from sludge/stones last week I did an experiment : I jumped up and down as if I was skipping with a rope for a few minutes at a time, four times that day. I wanted to see if the bile sloshing around might help break up the sludge/help it through the ducts in a physical way - it helped a LOT ! Pain went, has not come back yet. I will keep experimenting with jumping and see if it works. I take digestive enzymes, eat a lot of cruciferous veg and a bit of protein twice a day, do IF, and also sometimes take selenium and B complex. The less carbs/sugar I have, the better I feel.

In my case the surgeon is not very keen to remove gallbladder stating that it would be risky. I am having SEMS in CBD for the last six months. Present LFT report is well within the rane. I will go for a review within a month. There is no pain and any complain as present. Hope, the requisite dite will act wonder. Thanks

Dr. Berg could you explore and report on the digestive system of people who have had their gallbladder removed and a gastric bypass as well. How should they be eating? Can we still benefit from Apple Cider Vinegar and lemon juice and other of your recommendations or do we need to do something different. I, like many have regained weight and am trying to lose with Keto which is working. Just wondering if you have any information on that. I appreciate all of your videos. My husband is diabetic and he’s benefiting from incorporating many of your tips. Thank you!

Amazing video, I'm new to your channel and it's already starting to help me in so many ways! Could you do a video on how to remove moles (especially facial moles) quickly, naturally and no scarring? I've tried looking for remedies for hours online but with no luck. I'm hoping you could help me and the hundreds of desperate people who want to remove their moles but can't afford surgery or creams. Again, thank you for helping so many people!

A couple of years ago my wife was diagnosed with gallstones after she experienced terrible abdominal pain with nausea periods lasting sometimes a few minutes and sometimes could go like an hour. Sometimes they happen every day or every few days in a row and sometimes many months without these symptoms. They usually come after she eats but we couldn't identify which foods exactly are causing this because eating the same food or food combinations does not cause these symptoms on consistent bases. Also she constipate very often. Doctor suggested to avoid fatty food and if this doesn't help surgery as an option. She is suffering a lot when she has that pain but trying to avoid surgery as long as she can.

I tried vegan diet almost a year after having a baby and boy did that pain hit me. I was told I had sludge and was giving antacids. they didn’t want to remove my gallbladder so I just dealt with the pain from time to time it was horrible. so I abandoned the vegan diet thinking it may have some how triggered the sludge. I didn’t get a lot of help from medical professionals. in an effort to lose weight I tried keto and I must say the only time I experience the pain now is when I’m “cheating” or adding processed carbs. this video brings it all together. high carb diet, not enough fats, pregnancy, overweight was all a recipe for disaster. I’m glad I didn’t have my gallbladder removed and I’m glad I found this video that confirms I’m actually working in the correct direction now. thank you Doctor.

@@SpamMouse With respect as well, the "TikTok generation" comment was not respectful at all. My wife had severe gallstone pain 25 years ago. She did a lemon juice/olive oil flush and within 12 hours passed a bunch of stones through her poop. It was not painful and the problem never came back. Her doctor, who want to schedule surgery, never accepted the result and refuse to even discuss it. I know a few other people who that treatment worked for as well. Google it. Kinda surprised Dr. Berg didn't mention it.

I did those gallbladder cleanses every couple years. The most important part is drinking apple cider for a week first to soften the stones so they don't get stuck in the duct. I've gotten out hundreds of stones. !!

Thanks a ton for the video Dr. Berg! Can intermittent fasting (like OMAD) worsen the problem as the gallbladder would not have an opportunity to squeeze and get rid of the stored bile?

  • @experimenthealthyketo83

    @experimenthealthyketo83

    Жыл бұрын

No: because in these situations, they happen because of a lack of bile or absence of it and that’s what forms the stones. Bile dissolve the stones. So if one doesn’t eat for a few hours, bile starts to accumulate in the gallbladder and starts to dissolve some of the forming stones. Therefore, the more one is not eating, the more bile can accumulate. He’s made videos on this, with pictures as needed. ❤
