I have to give it to Tom. The maturity and composure he carried throughout the finals were beyond anything I've seen him do before. He has oftentimes either made mental mistakes or gotten in his own head in big moments, but he went out there and executed so, so well. Mitchell Hooper would have had a hard time beating Tom even if he reached his potential on the giants medley and the deadlift (I believe he didn't do his best in those events). Best-case scenario, Mitch wins WSM by a point or two. Alas, real-life kicks in, and Tom's consistency won the title. Congrats to the Spicy One! 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶

Hooper's grip was not strong enough (his own words) on the first event and totally ripped his hands. They kept bleeding. Therefore he lost points on other events too. He had a great chance of winning had not made that mistake, but well, props to him for admitting it and not making excuses.

Congrats to Tom as he came in really solid this year. Too bad Mitch's grip went a bit and he had the hand damage right away. With healthy hands he likely wins the deadlift and places much better in the medley getting him the repeat win or much closer. That's how the cookie crumbles sometimes though. Looking forward to seeing him defend some other titles this year and maybe win the Shaw if his hands recover in time.

Considering last time Tom did conans wheel I want to say it was last year in the WSM group stages (I may be wrong) and he came last, this year to do it in the final and come 3rd shows great progression as an athlete. He really showed a lot of hunger and determination for the win last year and no one an knock him down saying it only happened because of Mitchells hand injury or anything like that. I'm a big fan of Mitchell, but as a fellow Brit I'm over the moon that Tom got the win. This really puts him in the running as being the best British strongman of all time. 2024 is becoming a great year for the Stoltman brothers 🌶️🌶️🌶️

I was rooting for Mitch, but I'm really proud of Tom for such a solid performance. Good show for Evan also.

I think a lot of people are forgetting tom took time off to spend time with his family during 2023 now he's back at it he's pretty much untouchable

I don't think untouchable, but I think he and Hooper are at an "any given Sunday" point. Which is definitely more exciting for fans.

The people taking credit away from Tom’s win got to stop. Mitch and Tom used the same implement, shit happens. Stop with this “Mitch would have won if he didn’t tear his callouses” . A lot of woulda, coulda, and shoulda’s coming out from the Hooper fans

Mitch was several points behind. He wouldn't have won anyway even if the first event was completed from him. Tom just got him this time.

Yeah hand tears happen all the time.the implement has to move in the hand for it to tear. So have a better grip, less chance of it happen. If the implement doesn’t move in the hand, nothing tears in the hand

Thank you for the livestreams coverage! That final was tense on the stream. As a Canadian, a bit bummed that Mitch ripped open his hands. He could have done much better on some events. Still incredible that he got second! And big props to Tom, well deserved win!

Great show again guys, first place to go for any of these events!, big love to Tom and Luke, hoped Luke would have improved his 7th position this year, especially with his new coach, but just woooah Tom totally rocked it this year, its come home to Sunny Scotland!. Big love from sunny glasgow
