Hi Philip. You showed a really easy way to do it but I have the same problem as the other guys - the orientation of the cubes. Don't misunderstand me, I am grateful for your video but it would be very useful to see the whole procedure. Thanks.

The direction Of the cubes is not aligned to the center of the radial array !

Yes, but you cannot adjust it after you confirm your workstep, which defeats the whole purpose of having a procedural array

A few things happen that I don't want to when following these steps: The original moves too and I want it to stay where it was, and the orientation of the object needs to rotate towards the centre which now it doesn't. How can something so basic be made so difficult in blender, it's frustrating. In Rhino it's three inputs: Pick centre point (can be any vertex or snap point you want), set degrees you want to fill, select number of instances, Done!

Well, you can still move it do the desired position afterwards and you can rotate the object so that it faces a different direction in edit mode, it's not that complex Also you have to take into consideration that blender is a freeware and open source If you don't like something in rhino, you'll be stuck with it, in blender you can simply fix it yourself Additionally blender offers many advantages over rhino, perhaps your specific needs don't allow you to utilize them, but I wouldn't say that blender is any more complicated than any other 3D program, in fact, it's among the easiest to get into

How do you then convert this to a mesh?

After creating a geometry node setup, there should be a new object created in the modifier tab When you hover your mouse over it and press CTRL+A on it, it should apply the settings and it'll be editable in edit mode for you Note that you won't be able to change the radius or array count afterwards, so make sure you have all your settings down before applying

This doesn't allow for relative rotation

Well, it does, you can rotate every instance separately if you wanted to, it would just take 3 more nodes Also that was never the intended purpose of the video so I do not see the reason for pointing that out
