Excellent story! Thank you for showcasing these successful friends, and entrepreneurs in their own right. Loved it!
Very impressive duo that come together very well. Calm speaking, intelligent and inspirational. Could watch this content over and over again
This is a great solution for great problem at the right time. Real cash growing startup instead of fake future value burning cash companies! Great work Deel team! Thanks EO for this inspiring video.

The incredible Deel origin story 👏🏼 This is such an amazing video!
came to hear the story, ended up having one of the best life advice. Thank you EO and Deel. Bravo!
Great video, my company is based out of UK but uses deel for salary, taxation etc and the software & their support is flawless.
greattt content EO love this, keep bringing this content. you are inspiring a generation of entrepreneurs
Beautiful video. Really well done. The ending remarks were also surprisingly beautiful.

My boyfriend was hired through this company and it sucked. When he was laid off without reason they directly told him they NEVER comply with the severance pay required by law and that he had to negotiate. Here in mexico it's 3 months plus other benefits for reference.

Basically digitizing and automating administrative work flow for hiring a contractor for a project. Businesses like this make life more easy. BUT also, it will mean that people will hire contractors more often than employees ! A trend to prepare for as an employee.
This is a great channel.
Awesome. Thanks EO and the founders
It's really inspiring story! Great video! Wonder are there any other companies that are Deel alternatives
Great and very useful, everyone gonna love it
Sick!! Let's gooooO!
Thanks for aharing your wisdom!
Proud customer here, congrats!
i love this!
Great story. Is there any chance that Deel swallows/disrupt existing employee payroll products, and sets up a payment plan per-user for remote contractor/workers? I feel like this would be a great advantage to the many different payroll products out there.
Great humble video.
This channel will grow fast
Great 👏
thanks for sharing!
Kudos to the founders since this is such a hard problem to solve. Especially when it comes to international tax and labor laws. Looking forward to a multi billion IPO some day soon.
For me the most inspiring part is how the ladys mum moved to us and started her business
This is a great idea 💡
Seems like a good idea until I checked out the company website. I chose Canada as a country to compare as I’m from Canada. Pretty much every data point about labor regulation is wrong - how the heck can this be a billion dollar company?
Hello Alex! Great path. Very inspiring !

This is simply a factor, it's not the magic formula for success.
My company uses Deel to employ me and over one year, I’ve got a really bad experience so far. It’s consistent with what my other coworkers have been reporting as well. It’s mistake after mistake (on days off, on health insurance, on pension), without a direct contact meaning that you have to go through a chat bot then a person that always “can’t help with that inquiry” and needs to escalate. Impossible to get any help without having to wait a minimum of 48h to multiple days even for the most basic info. Feels more like being a freelancer than an real employee. I would not recommend to anyone. They clearly grew to fast and are happy to cash in new customers but are unable to provide a basic correct service. Lastly and I’m not the only one, I’m largely quitting my current position to avoid having to deal with this. We’ve also had candidates refusing an offer because of past experience with bad EoR such as Deel.

I have no doubt about it, a problem of the common SaaS
As of Jan 2024, they are making over 300M in ARR
Shuo is such an inspiration
This is awesome. I'm totally sick and tired of paying the people in my own country a living wage, with this now I can definitely lay them off and get the work done for way cheaper without having to worry about things like health insurance, benefits, vacation time!

According Alex's Linkedin he went to MIT for his master's degree from 2013 to 2015. But her cofounder says "went to MIT at the age to 20, graduated from MIT at the age of 21", the math doesn't add up at all. So how (2013 to 2015) shrunk in one year?
@iacchoiai39
Жыл бұрын
Shuo linkedin says she left MIT in 2013 so would be weird they took class together. It's just part of the story, like Shuo's mother who came to US with "nothing" from China and suddenly imported "motocycle" (which isnt the cheapest stuff to import). The details are not important in the startup world ;)

Deel raised at a 12B valuation on 100m of ARR? 120x revenue? and they're still burning cash in 2022? and they're primarily a services company? yeah, it's a decent company, but holy balls, that valuation is incredibly inflated, especially because there are already other companies operating in this space (yes, they do what Deel does, they just don't get the press or probably have as nice of a UI). Well, best of luck!

[6:37] "Deel is Gusto for international contractors"가 "Deel은 다국적 고용인들의 열성 팬입니다"로 오역 되있습니다. Gusto는 회사명이니 "Deel은 xxx을 위한 Gusto 같은 서비스 입니다" 라고 설명하는 것이 맞을거 같습니다.

I got scammed on Deel. If you're a contractor/freelancer, avoid at all costs. The employer has all the power and can lock you out at any moment (like when you finished to work and before paying).

Not true, I mean it might happend to you but in general I think Deel is great. I worked 2 months for a company through Deel, and it was super smooth and easy. Also what you're saying is not 100% on Deel, the employer was the problem in this case.

their revenue is not what you think. itis payments to them wich they transfer to people. so basically itis like Paypal saying that they have 100m "revenue"
Please french subtitle
How does 100M revenue equate to 15bill evaluation?
$650m raised and $100m revenue is only a billion dollar company by SV math.
The faster it grows, the harder it hits
