I'd love to see some more unique skins hats and weapons as deed rewards...maybe with a green or red accent/glow, since we already have blue and purple.

That would be too much work for FS sadly, rewards need to already be in the game. Although random cosmetic drops for some deeds would also be really nice

@@chungusbooper it is kinda sad but it is what it is. Also, let’s be real: Exclusive cosmetics for deeds isn’t going to make or break the game. It would be nice for sure, but we can definitely live without them if we get other content in place of it

I only farm deeds for the portrait frame. Most of the time I glitch the deeds to cataclysm difficulty.

I think they are fine and about as rare as they should be. It's a fun challenge. The reward is out of line considering its difficulty though.

@@wundsaltz1114 For me Legend deeds with BtB are almost as difficult as Cata FoW. I can't even imagine having BtB on the Cata deed.

Yes. Fatshark, please implement jtc's suggestions and re-work the deeds. Especially the one about crafting deeds! Deeds haven't been tweaked at all since 2018. Also: allow deed matchmaking. Allow us to join in-progress deed lobbies.

Cata deeds could be a lot of fun as well. Especially if you could pick some fun modifiers.

Next wave + vanguard is one hell of a deed and is tons of fun on cata. I wouldn’t be opposed to them just allowing you to pick which difficulty you can play a deed on either

I have no use for deeds; they're a waste of a good loot slot.

If you are grinding the 600 deeds. You can use a deed while not host and it will not be consumed. Use it before it gets patched!

Good ideas, didn't even touch on how the only real reason the community seems to be okay with the state of deeds in Vermintide is that the deed glitch exists, so even if it's broken and a bad system you can still use it to grind like 24 emperor vaults per hour on legend super easily and progress through the early grind much faster than you should really be able to.

I wish there was an easy way to play deeds with other players instead of being forced to do with bots. There is an obscure way to do it, but that hardly counts. Especially since QP is my bread and butter.

You should really be allowed to join a deed while the lobby is still in the keep, it’s mind boggling that you aren’t able to. Would fix another huge issue with deeds if that was fixed

Great points! Wondering if you have ever played the game Hades? It has one of the best endgame difficulty systems in any game I've ever played. You select modifiers to increase the difficulty and each modifier adds a certain amount of "heat" based on how difficult the modifier is. Increasing the heat allows you to earn more rewards. You can stack modifiers to the point where the game is nearly impossible if you want, or just pick some cruisy ones. I always thought this system would work brilliantly with vermintide deeds and it has a lot of overlap with what you're talking about here. Each modifier is worth a certain amount of points and every points you add it adds another chest to the reward. I have been considering making a mod to demonstrate this proof of concept for a while now but I've been slack with it because I didn't think it would get much traction or fatshark would ever notice it.

I'd love to craft deeds and be able to select a specific illusion that i don't have as the additional reward for having completed the deed

Im also just doing it for the frames.

Preach! For me grinding has never been a fun experience in any game period, like in Dirty Bomb (rip that game) I even bought the pack that unlocked all and future characters (which was later refunded due to the support for the game stopping) and left me free to experiment. Im at that point with VT2 where if Im not left free to do whatever and am forced to still grind reds I'll stop playing. I know that I haven't been going after red dust that much, but 500 hours should be enough to "finish" a game.

I mean you are free to do whatever you want, why would you need reds? If your orange sword has 4.8% attack speed and 27% bcr instead of the max rolls who gives a damn? The suggested changes make it way too easy to get gear, not specifically red gear but for example getting 3 emp vault + a red for a single legend mission with a few modifiers is absolutely out of line.

The worse modifier that I got was: Legend -Elites got double health and damage -If you go down you die We are literally playing Legend difficulty with Cataclysm 2 tweak plus you get one shot by any elite and when I say one shot I MEAN IT except for Footsman and Ironbreaker that get 2 shot.

-Back to basics could be fun it it means no power but you have talents, traits and properties. And another modifier being no talents and other being no properties and traits. It should be 3 different modifiers. -About crafting your own deeds its interesting but against Fat Shark design of grinding so i guess they will not make it. -Same for better reward for them. If you are able to craft some deeds it will cost you a lot of dust and will give you 1 or 2 emperor (A lot of orange dust for legend, Orange and blue for champion, green for veteran, and less green for recruit) I dont believe Fat Shark will make a better deal than that, and this seems a lot for them. -I am okey with Harder and Better, Sudden death and no respawn at the same time is one of the worst combos i believe

abduction screwed over a game my group had because when we tp through the skittergate to fight the final boss I suddenly took a few thousand dmg and just instantly died, we lost because of it.

Vanguard/Sudden Death/Harder Better is so brutal dude. I'd love to be able to craft deeds

unrelated but i wish the crafting system as a whole was reworked unfortunately, fart shart DID rework the crafting system with the Athenor, but its locked to a shitty dlc no one wants to play... mind boggling

It would definitely add another layer to the game that it needs..

Have alot of deeds but never playing them. Think they are just to Hard at Legend so its not worth it

Vangand with beter faster and sudden death is one of my favourite deeds. A deed or any game mode being fun or not will depend on each person. Getting rid of those combinations would be bad for some players. I do think it should be more flexible, but I wouldn't want to lose what's already there. And I would acually like back to basic deeds if they gave you more reds with 100% chance or something like that.

Harder, better, faster, stronger + vanguard + sudden death is my favourite kind of deed. I always play with my friends, it's very hard but also funny to see everyone 'tripping' throughout the level. But yeah we need more drops and more modifiers. Back to basics shouldn't be a thing.

Its a bit of an nonsens topic. Just delete the deeds you dont wanna play :P
