Something that I find simply incredible about this video is just how much the song seems to resonate with the crowd. As soon as Robert Smith starts singing you can visibly see the entire crowd emotionally lift, if that makes sense? It's like, despite how dark and goth The Cure comes off at first glance they seem to radiate this aura of joy and happiness that simply washes over the entire crowd when they start to preform. Genuinely makes me happy just to watch this, what a performance.

He still sounds as good today as he did 40 years ago, it is wonderful to hear.
His voice hasn’t aged a day!
I think this song hits home and tugs at the emotions because it embodies the "high" of being in love for the first time in a melancholy and nostalgic way that no matter if the love is still there or faded it makes you think of remembering that first love high.
Jeez, he still sounds brilliant live. Amazing.
The audience looks like they came from a corporate retreat.

I was completely struck by it when I first listened to it
Fabulous, you can not hear Robert Smith or watch him perform for years and all of a sudden a song of his hits your ears , gets stuck in your head and then you’re spending hours watching his videos and getting lost in his magic. There’s a special way with this guy.
One of THE GREATEST song EVER. Thanx Cure.....
Long Live Robert! Forever my Sweet Robert. Your music Forever
I'm not a huge Cure fan but I do absolutely love a few of their songs, this being one of them. They still sound great. Well done Robert.

This remains one of the best songs and arrangements ever by one of the best bands ever. Robert's voice absolutely kills to this day and remains such an original. I could be having the worst f*cking day ever and listening to this song will help lift my spirits. God bless Robert Smith and The Cure.
Still singing like he did in the 80s . Bloody amazing.
Freakin' just like heaven. Thanks The CURE!!! With much LOVE from the Philippines!!!
HE SOUNDS AMAZING!!!!
still get goose bumps, thanks for everything robert and co
Keep in mind, that anybody that is making comments about Robert Smith's hair, etc etc., they are not fans of The Cure. They are just babies that will grow old one day too if they're lucky. Bless their hearts.
I just got goosebumps all over. Smiths voice is from the heavens
Everything about this band is Just Like Heaven...
I grew up listening to the Cure because of my mom, and they're my favorite band of all time. 💖 Robert Smith is a lyrical mastermind. Amazing that he still sounds the same after all this time. What a talent!
Robert still sounds amazing. This is my favorite song by The Cure, love it.❤️
