I'd say most goths tend to be childishly joyful, when you meet them in person.

Robert always seem overwhelmed at the end of the show just how much the audience still love him after 40 years.

Robert Smith's voice is incredible! My daughter and I saw the last month. During the show she said to me, 'His voice sounds exactly the same.' He is amazing!

All this concert was pretty unbelievable.

They've been playing for over 45 years. I love their music. I saw them in 1989, live thanks to an amazing woman who had some pull to get 5th row seats. The experience was magnificent. These four guys made enough music to fill Great Woods, the venue in Mansfield, Massachusetts and beyond. The power, the emotion, and the artistry was like nothing I'd ever heard or seen

He looks like a very humble shy man, something that is rare these days in musicians

What an absolute legendary band this is. They've been impossible to pin down. Everyone thinks of them as shoegazing goths but they've written some of the most perfect pop songs in history. Į first saw them on TV in Oz in about 1980, and I've been a fan ever since.

As much of an influence the cure is on a lot of bands and from the time they made their best music, the thing I enjoy the most is Robert smiths humility and longevity as a performer.

I love them! Their songs are as much about joy as sadness, all at the same time. Nobody lifts my heart the way The Cure do!

I think I'm one of the few Persians who listen to cure and other fabulous rock bands,and I don't say be cause of showing how cool or smart or etc I am, but just for showing my respect and love for these marvelous bands who changed my life 🙏🙏 I will always love you guys and it is my true honor and privilege to listen to your fantastic songs and music. For those of you wondering why his voice hadn't changed hardly any compared to his peers- from what I could find in some light googling, he never smoked. Every, and I mean EVERY other celebrity of the time smoked. It gave them a nice gravely back then, but it destroyed their voices with age. Don't smoke, kids!

It was my first taste of rejection. I was heartbroken. The girl whom I thought I would spend the rest of my life with rejected me out flat. I was a total wreck. Teary jerky .. Then I heard this song. And it hit me specifically the line " Keep on laughing, hiding the tears in my eyes" And that's what I did.. I became a jerk, the laughing stock of the class overnight, but no one knew the true reason why.
