Stewart Copeland, The Police's drummer is one of the most underrated drummers of all time. He puts in an incredible amount of energy into every song and its usually very subtle. This song is a perfect example. Look how hard he works for a relatively laid back song.

Copeland has given copious interviews on their musical differences. Stingo is a pop start singer icon who needs a solid session drummer to lay down a rythm for him to express his full Stingness…then over his left shoulder WW3 is going on behind the kit 😂😂😂

Yeah, you were too late for Hendrix, and Joplin, and Morrison, et al, so no doubt Gordon, and the fellas were a breath of fresh air for that time. I can't believe I passed up going to see them at a little hole in the wall bar in Kansas City, Kansas as their careers were on the verge of skyrocketing. Such is life. It's not my only regret.

Lots of times when you see modern videos of 80s bands it doesn't compare to how they sounded in their prime, but even by 2008 The Police seriously sounded just as good. I'm sure they would today too. Makes it an even bigger shame they broke up.

To all who say that they believe all religions and therefore support all narritives of life: Then you all allowing yourselve to be deceived and that willingly: Bible warns and reminds us: BE NOT DECEIVED! Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 1 Corinthians 15:33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. Ezekiel 14:9 And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel. Proverbs 20:1 Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise. Luke 21:8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. Saw them here in February, the hottest month here Downunder, and they were brilliant. Such a ful sound and every song - perfect. Sting ended up in just his trouseres as it was so hot. God knows how Andy Sumners played his Telecaster most of that night. My best friend and I ( not with me as I had a beautiful girl) both agree some 40+ years later that The Police concert was the best we've ever been to.
