I'm sorry but Aespa is just becoming this TOP group that has talent, vocals and unique music. They took years to build their reputation but now they're finally surpassing other mainstream gg. SM is coming back to the top as they used to. This type of organic success has been missed

@@mew5090No, it is very different. Aespa handsome songs are always full of noisy instrument that has aespa colors in it, and their iconic 2 songs in 1 song. since debut. Next Level. Savage. Girls. Spicy. Drama. Etc. While their pretty songs like Dream come true, Forever, better things, etc are full of vocal harmony. NMIXX is more like Itzy+(G)idle song combined. Beside, aespa debuted first with this concept. It will be correct if you say NMIXX songs are similar to aespa's. Not the other side.

Yess agreed, though I've still been a fan of SM releases from the last years, this song and what e.g. Riize has been putting out proves why SM had and has a huge impact on K-Pop. Kinda feels like a musical statement if that makes sense :')

remember when aespa had alien-like aesthetics when they debuted with Black Mamba? this is like the perfect sound for them, i feel. props to them for sticking out like a sore thumb compared to other girl groups who do a girl crush-type kinda deal. i personally really like it!

i feel like this is becoming sm’s stamp by now! exo also had an alien theme that later turned into a galactic war theme, nct has a tech-punk e-boy theme, and reve has an eerie doll theme. i love these slightly unsettling undertones in their concepts. and the non-human aspect gives them so much room for exploration and creativity. sm might be a shitty company but they snatch the best artists and put them in the best concept groups for sure!
