Talking about Webb, ok it takes 6 sec to do 3 reps, but what about walking with the barbell to 75 rep square? It's not her fault, but wtf such a major fail for a judge, especially when competition are so close.

zigutia FYI, if you watch the documentary on this, Redeemed and Dominant or something, you hear Boz go up to Kara and say “on your 72 set, it took you 6 seconds to walk forward and then do the reps. So the only fair thing I think is to add 6 seconds to your time.” And she says OK. So it was fair based on your criteria.

Yep, that got annoying. I think she mentioned it before and after every heat (men's AND women's) and any other time between heats.

I think they do that for rebroadcast purposes; i.e. so that any time that they are only showing one of the heats (vs. all of them at once) they are mentioning it. But, yes, when you're watching them all it sure is annoying/repetitive.

6 seconds penalty? Really this is a greatest indulgence ever. If you do not finish it yet - go back and pick the bar. Whose error it may be only athlete must pay for it. You can punish and remove a judge later but for the respect to all of spectators and all of athletes you should to continue counting the time, give cap+3 or 0 pts for the event. 6 секунд штрафа? Серьезно... это величайшая поблажка. Если ты еще не закончил - вернитесь и поднимите снаряд. Чья бы ни была ошибка может за неё заплатить только спортсмен. Вы можете наказать и удалить судьи в позже, но для уважения ко всем зрителям и всем спортсменам вы должны продолжить подсчет времени, присудить крышка + 3 или вообще 0 очков за это событие.

Well its not Webb's fault for incompetent judge, but 6 sec penalty was an early Christmas gift. The way situation was manage is beyond believe. In general judges errors interferes to much with the result and events flow. Also those camera men should be there on the floor.

Love CrossFit - as a workout. But love many other sports too. They always keep saying nonsense like “the fittest in the world”. As if all the other Olympic and professionals athletes in the USA (forget the whole world) somehow don’t hit peak performance and fitness levels all the time in their careers. Laughable.
