Vader probably wasn't only thinking about when he fought in the arena as Anakin, he probably was thinking about what happened right before they fought in the arena, when Anakin and Padme confessed their love for each other... the whole reason why he became a sith in the first place was so that he could save her... ToT nooooooo now I'm sad...

Usually generals and the like in SW are also raised as child soldiers.....they also at least meant to have some sort of intelligence/capacity and Vader has always been known to be pretty rash in some of his actions in legends and canon, actually he has always been shown to be really rash in plenty of scenarios. Not only that but there's also plenty of male generals and characters in legends and canon who have outsmarted Vader or given him insight he didn't know or hadn't found yet.

@@alwayswatching5545 Please cite those old canon examples of Vader being rash, always getting stumped, always throwing temper tantrums, being outmaneuvered, etc. Vader was never a big focus in Legends, as the Original Trilogy was never a big focus. The vast majority of content took place after Vader died, or before he was Vader. Marvel Vader here is lucky to have survived all the way to the films.

@@histguy101 Christus Regnet I only said "Vader being Rash" or "other people (generals and the such) giving him insight or outsmarting him" I literally didn't say nor stated anything you just said I did. And eitherway, I will not bring you "the source" you ask for because 1)not really my job, 2) you can just Google it and find some and 3) couldn't care less about proving myself right at this point. Wether that's for better or worse. I guess I can give the most obvious example of Vader being Rash is when I'm the movies he force chokes a person for just insulting the force. That and other instances of him killing people under him because they no longer have a use for him, and idk about you, but those sound like pretty rash desicions. But that's all I'mma say cause I've given up trynna argue with Star Wars fans There's no reason for me to argue further than what I've originally stated in my first reply. Does all of this make me look arrogant? yeah, extremely so. But like I said, I couldn't care less.

@@histguy101 I do feel it's more natural though, since there is so much he doesn't know about the Sith and the way the Galaxy was in the hands of the Sith, it makes sense, my only complaint is the connections to the Disney Saga.

Which comic is this? I don't remember this from the second vader comic (which took place before ANH). Is it from the third? I haven't read it yet, but I thought it takes place between ESB and ROTJ.

I like the little implying that Vader could be behind Death Star leak itself, since it was a thread to his own power. That comics run was really good.
