I don’t think a lot of people are trying to cancel it, but the funny part is the same people that are outrage about this show and call it w@ke will laugh at other people when they are offended by a TV show.

Having house of the dragon and the boys come out weekly just days in between each other has been an absolute blessing 😂

This is interesting because I’ve basically heard nothing but complaints about it. But that’s probably just the noisemakers. I haven’t seen it past season two however so I have some catching up to do.

The only people hating on the show this season are incels who were upset that it made fun of their precious beliefs.

To me the show is still very much on the same hot streak of high quality it’s always been on and so it’s no surprise that it’s still climbing in viewership

I thought the first 3 episodes of this season were just okay, wasn't really feeling Season 3's Finale either, but man, the last episode (S4E4) was pretty good imo. I think the least interesting parts throughout the series have always been Frenchie & Kimiko's subplots, & this season I'm starting to feel like they don't really know what to do with those characters anymore. I felt like the Shining Light stuff with Kimiko should've been sorted out back then, not wait until the 2nd last season to do it. And then Frenchie getting into a relationship with the person whose family was murdered by him is just a terrible thing for him to do. I'm surprised none of the Boys have been killed off yet, this crew hasn't suffered any huge losses yet other than Billy losing Becca, so I wouldn't be surprised if we lose one of the Boys this season. MM is like the moral compass of the show, people like that always seem to be the first to go in these shows, losing him might hurt the most because he's a good dude. Even though S4 didn't start out the best, I still love this show though & I am glad Season 5 will be the last. Even after the first couple of seasons, I already had a feeling that this series won't be too long, the Boys can't play cat & mouse with Homelander forever, otherwise the series will just get repetitive. It's always tough to hit on the final season though, so hopefully they stick the landing.

I’m just really tired of them trying to show us Frenchie’s backstory. It’s like every season they give him a subplot surrounding his past and then the next season they just move on to something else. He joined the boys to be a badass gun tech who can develop weapons to kill supes, but that doesn’t feel like his character at all anymore.

I love how the red pill morons out there are trying to review bomb the series, but it just makes me so happy to see that the viewership is actually going up up 21% is a giant number

A lot of the time I see people saying the Frenchie stuff is making season 4 bad. And although that side plot is the most boring for me. The show is still Top notch

MAGA clearly likes to see themselves being the villains because I have no idea how you can have this growth without a substantial portion of the viewership being MAGA

The thing I hear the second most is that it is painting all people on the right as evil and racist, which is not even true. I’m happy to see Butcher get legitimate plot armor now. For a long time it bothered me that you had to suspend so much belief to think that Homelander would not just fly over to wherever Butcher is and just kill him real quick for the hell of it. But now with Ryan, Homelander has a reason to not do that, which is great.

Says Amazon and Amazon only. With no actual numbers released. Sure. I believe them.

Episode 4 might have been my favorite episode so far it was so friggin good

I’m loving this season 🤷‍♂️ really hard for me to believe the people who are criticizing the show just because it’s getting review bombed by angry right-wingers. Not to say that some criticisms aren’t valid, but how do I know the person criticizing it isn’t secretly only really upset about the show purely based on them feeling that their ideology is being attacked? To me, it’s as great as it’s always been.

Besides episode 4, this season has been extremely boring. For some reason they are giving us Frenchie’s backstory again, even though they’ve done that every season. Frenchie doesn’t even feel like the same badass gun tech he was in the first season (the whole reason they wanted him to join the boys). I couldn’t care less about Hughie’s mom. I will say I am more interested in Kamiko now than I was in previous seasons though.

Homelander is truly one of the most terrifying villains I have ever had privilege of watching

My biggest problem so far is that I feel like they’re trying to add too many side plots they definitely wrap up some of the side stories by the time this season over

@chazzerous 1. Boys isn't a drama or a sitcom. 2. My point is that Hollywood award shows live up their own asses and quality doesn't matter. It's Always Sunny has never received a nomination and it's been on almost 20 years.

Call me crazy but Homelanders been giving me green goblin vibes from the first raimi film, especially when he talks to himself in the mirror with his darker side barraging him with insults and shame and pushing him to do the most visceral things.

So the right wing snowflakes who have said they refuse to watch it anymore must actually be watching it 😂😂😂😂😂

100% it’s probably a combination of people venting online but still actually watching the show. Along with rage tourists. People who were likely never watching the show to start with but just jumping in to bash it as it’s against their politics.

This season seems a bit boring because how many new and uninteresting stories they have added just show they can push the story to the fifth season

I felt the first 3 episodes weren't all that great, I wasn't high on Season 3's finale either, but the last episode (S4E4) was pretty good imo, especially all the Homelander scenes. Still love the show though, & I'm glad it's wrapping up in Season 5, so it won't drag out too long.

Homelander is the only villan that actually scares me and makes me nervous when on screen

While I absolutely loved episode 4, it feels like they’re sacrificing good storytelling for political nonsense and boring subplots. I’m hoping it keeps up after the last episode, but definitely wasn’t a fan of the first 3.

The season is literally about an election and the bad guys politically maneuvering themselves so they can take over the country/world and be seen as the saviors. So complaining about the politics is kinda crazy. The Frenchie subplot is boring and feels like the same story hes done in the other seasons.

Season 4 is fucking killing it. I'm loving every second if it. The excitement is all over the place as well.
