Interesting question! The Kaplan and Nortan Balanced scorecard and the Boston Matrix can both be used to evaluate business performance together. The Boston Matrix gives us an idea of the financial performance of the products and help understanding the market share whereas the Balanced scorecard helps analyse the financial and non financial factors responsible in ensuring that the organisation runs smoothly. So if we have a wide portfolio of products in the business we can use the Boston Matrix to understand which products are worth investing more money in, and the Balanced scorecard can help in balancing non financial aspects to ensure they perform at optimal efficiency. Hope this makes sense.

Because you might invest more than you get back as the aim is to get a quick and powerful growth. You can’t get a growth without investing into it first!
