I used to be an A category guy. 18 yrs across 3 multinationals awarded 3 consecutive years best sales guy and employee of the year yet was never acknowledged by my boss and always credit was stolen for all the work I did. He kept rising but I was just getting awards but promotions were never on the cards for me. I got frustrated to the core and then left and started my own busuness for the past one year. Today I have a team of 20 people with two other partners with me. I kept struggling on the people handling part as I guess I was never taught how to handle people. This video gave me the critical understanding of what went wrong when I was working and how I should be looking at my people when I lead today. Thank you so much. This was Gold.

This will not work in real life scenario, because A type people work with A type company. And some businesses can’t afford to pay more so they get what they pay for. Appreciation is okay but at the end only one thing matter is how much you are paying. And one more reason A company not only pay your more but give you better perks, facilities and work life balance. Which 70% companies failed to give.

If they are A players and bringing in business, why not pay them equivalent to A type company? These people are like 4-5% of your entire workforce, so you can afford it easily.

What a great speech. It truly shows the situation I am facing since 30 years. I am consultant, so I come and go. But I have seen so many capable people, quit their job in their mind, just costing money and prohibiting any progress. Only because their managers are incapable to motivate and to give in that they are not expert of the topic they are responsible for.
