just so you know, VERY frequently jackass "boxers" will fight in amateur promotions against easy targets just to build up their record, and their value, to try and leverage a prize-fight. So he was probably an average fighter who just had a huge ego, some $, and tried this, based on his thirst for fame etc.

Writing to them, following their stories, trying to help with appeals (to which she has had ZERO success) and buying their books/ art..etc. Anyway, I read one his books that she has..and it sucks. My sister will not speak to me anymore because I said "hey sis, this could be an amazing appeal for you to follow up on." She got excited and said "wait! How! What!?" levitating octahedron I don’t think anyone is a hero for killing. But I can UNDERSTAND an abused partner killing their abuser. However, this case was not an abused partner killing their abuser. This was an undefeated amateur boxer who got a gun, disarmed his partner when she attempted to protect herself, then shot her EIGHT times with her child upstairs. The footage from the cameras HE installed does not show her abusing him or him acting in self defense in the slightest. I would suggest researching this case further before making comments on it and in general not assuming what total strangers online would think or feel in hypothetical situations.

Single moms are sitting prey for predators. He likely saw her desperation to form family. Domestic violence is a sickness of society. The current issue however, is that you can not raise issues where the female looks to be the one that made a bad decision. I'm not claiming she is the blame but she gave trust. Even when the narrator points out that her friends all saw him for what he was. Until society comes together and honestly talks about how we are all contributing to the decay then nothing can change.

I've seen this case before with the video of what happened in the home and I think maybe the interrogation, I don't remember much else. But I love how when I come across Mike's videos of cases I've seen before, he goes so much more in-depth into the backstory of the people involved. And that makes me remember them. The interrogation videos are interesting, but they seem to have gone in one ear and out the other; I don't remember the actual stories. Thank you for being such a great and witty storyteller, Mike!

In the past I have worked as a writing tutor and done consulting work for people writing theses and doctoral dissertations. Currently, I am a professor. As such, I have worked with thousands of students and read tens of thousands of papers. Mr. Medina's writing displays a shocking disregard towards the craft of writing. First, while Medina fashioned himself as a writer, I highly doubt he was much of a reader. Anyone that had even a casual relationship with books can create a superior product than Medina managed. As a writer, Medina is impervious to the structure, grammatical and syntactical, of effective writing. In fact, his writing is so overwrought, pretentious, and undisciplined that it reads like a put-on, a farce, a deliberate attempt to write in the most dreadful fashion imaginable. What is most striking, however, beyond the agony that Medina inflicts upon his readers, is the presence of his monomaniacal, narcissistic ego throughout the text. His writing, while abysmal, is psychologically revealing. Not in what he writes, but the manner in which he wrote. Mediocre, factually-challenged thoughts drift in and out--beginning out of nowhere and vanishing without articulation. His need to dominate the reader with his author-saturated text. The complete absence of self-reflection. The incessant pedantic drone of his musings. It is actually insane how badly he writes. Of the thousands of authors I have read Medina's work would be in the top 0.1% of terrible writing. To date, there is only one author I can think of that wrote more insanely awful, narcissistic text than Medina. (However, that "author" may have been using a text generating algorithm to write his philosophy dissertation because it was just THAT friggin' bizarre. Literally, it was word salad. Barring the word salad, however, Medina's writing would be number one in the "bonkers" department. It truly is pathological.)
