The Conning and Drowning Lori Isenberg

Ойын-сауық

Lori and Larry Isenberg were living the good life in Coeur d'Alene, until an accident led Larry Isenberg to the bottom of the lake. They were out in the boat, when he suddenly went over, and they wouldn't find him for almost a month. Was it an accident? Well, Lori would soon be arrested, but for a completely different reason, but perhaps the two were linked in ways no one could have seen.

I don't think it falls apart because there is very little motive to murder him. She already stole and gave her children the money, and if you change the will and then kill him then that will is not going to pan out because you don't want everyone to look into it. Events of getting fired and realising that she is going to get arrested aligns more with suicide then murder. So we have weak motive, so it is possible that truth is somewhere in between. Like for example she planned to kill him and her self but she chickned. On the other had if she was so willing to die why she didn't do it when situation went from bad(5 years in prison and fucked up relationships) to worse(life in prison). It just feels like we are missing whole story here.

@@MarkoLomovic Somebody who cares so little for other people that she was willing to steal a massive amount of money from their relief funds probably cares more about herself than she cared about her family, too. No one that selfish is going to take their own life...... they think they can find a way out of their troubles. If she was going to kill herself, she would have drank the Benadryl BEFORE she took a nap. The will-changing maneuver was just one more way for her to steal, which she seemed adept at doing.

In fact it bothered the first time I heard it and ever since. He's saying "I love you" to 1.5 million people who would have to MEET him just to move up from "unknown individual" to qualify as a stranger. To him I'm a number. In no way am I a human to him. I might not even be human. Maybe I'm a bot. How could he "love" me-- he's never met me! He doesn't know I exist. If I die tonight he'd never know-- or care. Is he Jesus, extolling his love for all mankind? Or is it just a phrase with no meaning, impact or consequence? Because it has no meaning, impact or consequence. Mike gives me the impression of being a genuine guy. But that is the most disingenuous thing I've ever heard anyone say, and a sad cheapening of the power of the phrase "I love you" said with genuine emotion to an actual human. I find it sad.

As James said, his older stuff, where he was trying to figure out how to do this and how to present it, you can see clear motivations of his way he does the videos in his earlier stuff, but it's real rough and less believable, at any rate though, James said it, clear genius and I'm so happy to have found you. I usually throw your videos on the Bluetooth, the audio blaring in my vehicle when I go anywhere. It's basically a podcast but better! Thanks for the time that you spend on this stuff, and then making an engaging, entertaining way of being able to call nsume the stories, it takes real genius to do that. B) She wouldn't be sitting there telling stories if she really wanted him back, she would be fighting tooth and nail to keep looking. What makes this channel kind of perfect is the fact that Mike is just…imperfect? That’s a praise, not a criticism. I’ll elaborate. What I mean by imperfect is, it seems that Mike has a loosely written script that he goes by; talking points, even. But his delivery is not always perfect. A word gets stumbled over here and there. His reaction to certain details of the story seems to be real world, rather than one that’s been predetermined. Like he’s almost just shooting from the hip as he tells the story. Those little idiosyncrasies kept in, not edited over, are what keep bringing me back. Like, there are pauses after a sentence while he searches for the right word to use. I love the loose edges. It doesn’t have to be so clean cut. His personality is conveyed through the storytelling. Which, in turn, gives the channel personality. So again, nothing but praise. Edit: Tree

It's another creepy example of the "partial truths" told by murderers. Her initial story of how he went to look at the engine, got a horrible look on his face, and he went over the side of the boat was 100% the truth. The part she skipped was the reason for the horrible look and reason he went over. It's got to be horrible to figure out your spouse is killing you. She's kind of like an older version of Jodi Arias in that way.

Also if you saw him go over the side, why bother moving the boat at all? It's a lake, not a river; you already knew where he was.

Meanwhile I have a step-mother who is disgustingly materialistic, and a heinous human... I’ve been shocked my dad has survived being married to her since the 90s. Granted she’s drained him dry financially, and he got fired as a COO from his company after embezzling a ton of money for them (they chose to not prosecute), but she’s yet to kill him for an insurance payout.
