Dimash can't be known by a pair of songs because his incredible vocal range, presence on stage, mesmerizing power (yes...) and flexibility about musical genres need a long way to form a real opinion.? judgement? Whatever, my english is quite bad but I suppose it can be understood 🤔. He has really beautiful low ranges... Maybe you can see Olimpico (a "popera" in italian) Sinful passion, Show must go on in this same contest, The Singer. And Screaming Idol hits. Ti amo cosi... or Kieli Meken... Just let it be... Dimash knocked Julie Andrews off my personal #1 spot of 60 years. Her vocal range impressed me at a very young age. Dimash is simply captivating in every way as a performer.

He is great, Brian sometimes doesnt like how he does the songs. But still says he has a great voice.. actually have ave maria tomorrow 💯

This was the competition in China, I Am Singer from 2017. Dimash was 22 and invited as a wild card. All the other singers were very established and well known Chinese performers. Dimash spoke no Chinese but had to prepare a song within a week. He sang SOS as his first song and suddenly became very famous in China overnight. Dimash didn't know his father was in the audience ( who are the judges) until he finished singing. He was very homesick and was overjoyed to see his father. If you watch the video for a few more seconds you will see them reunite. It is very touching. Dimash is very close with his family .

That is Dimash's Dad in the audience. He surprised Dimash by coming from Kazakhstan. Dimash sees him after singing this song and runs down and embraces him and picks up his Dad! Wonderful moment. Dimash said that if he had known that his Dad was there, he might not have acted so 'cheeky'! :D

"Of course he's talented" is like saying that a great novel like "Lord of the Rings" is good because you like the pictures (illustrations). There is much more going on than "range". But being impressed or having the ability to "appreciate" the talent we come in contact with, is in each persons individual DNA. It varies. By the way, I have met Dimash. He is very shy and humble in "real" life. A lot of performers are extroverts on stage and the opposite in real life. (Freddie Mercury, being a prime example).

This song is in Russian it was originally sung by Vitas who demanded Dimash never sings it again so this is the only video of him singing it this was the second song he sang in The Singer Show. On stage he is very confident but off stage he is very shy and very humble

@@gusbr3akroom278 The chinese managers of VITAS demanded it from Dimash because Dimash TWICE violated the Bern Convention and did not aks for permition 1.) performing Opera#2 an the Reality Show I Am a Singer, 2.) at the Gala concert of world-wide celebration of Chinese New Year 2017 which was clearly a commercial event. Thus, Dimash twice violated Vitas' author' rights. Dimash therefore is prohibited to perform any Vitas' song.

Hello Brian (Always Denying Dear), Gus, and Jason, good to see you with Dimash again! This song is in Russian, and Dimash does speak Russian fluently, although not his native language of Kazakh. Dimash has many new songs to react to. He has new Kazakh songs, which are all brilliant. He has a fairly new MV (Golden) that is a movie in itself. The end of this week he is releasing a new MV, Be With Me, that was premiered at his digital concert this past January, that will take you by surprise. It is totally different than anything you have heard. What you want to react to depends on what you want to hear from him. LOL You will hear a lot of stories about this song and Dimash in the incoming comments. Plain and simple, he is not allowed to sing this song anymore. Since this was from the show Singer and was a competition, he is showing his vocal abilities. Now, four years later he is singing music that highlights his vocals, but is powerful, emotional, fun, energetic, and beautiful. Some are folk song type, he sings pop, "rock,", and he even raps. He will be moving to the US at some point to promote his music here. Go back to the song Opera 2 that has a dad in the title and at the end de thanks the band and then sees his dad and it is "PRICELESS"!! You guys need to see that. Hello from Belgium🤗 I believe that Dimash made us relearn to love Music and for each one his choice a little different Russian melancholy treble for asians you put everything together and add lyricism and the europeans love it. We had fun in the 80s, we messed around in the 90s, the 2000s blah, then we were more aware of their excesses ... than their songs. My last concert Phil Collins, my husband ACDC, SCORPION, KISS, ... Fun thing to note about the song, it's original singer only goes higher twice. Dimash does it 4 times. Also the gentleman in the suit they keep showing the one that does the fist pump when he's done is his father ❤

It is a Russian song. Kazak and Russian are both native tongues to him. Of you look a a map of Russian you will see Kazakhstan in the bottom left hand corner. Kazakhstan was not given their freedom from Russia until 1991, this was before Dimash was born, but his parents made sure he spoke both languages fluently.

This song by Russian singer Vitas was already popular in China, so Dimash decided to surprise them with a playful version, 3 key changes instead of one. Kazakh is his native language, his Russian is perfect, too.

I heard that Opera 2 was chosen by the Singer program/ producers. It is not Dimash's kind of song, rather superficial/ show off song IMO. But indeed very popular in China, so it was a good choice. He won the 1. place with this song (in that week).

However, I perceive that song as a bit superficial for the way original artist performs it. Again, this is my opinion as I wrote (IMO = in my opinion, not claimed as a fact).

Aloha y’all! Love your reactions. You should listen to Unforgettable Day as that is a song he composed when he was 17 yo. He sang it the best on the singer 2017. He is all about his audience/fans and this will give you an invite on how beautifully talented he actually is. Because of his audience, he asked that some of it to be translated in Chinese. He never disappoints

Hi guys, For your information (and especially Brian) this song is originally of Vitas and the singing supposed to be like Dimash did. However he brought to a higher level than the original. And this was still for the competition. Please react to Dimash’s recent own songs. You will have a better perspective of his style (it’s not always about the technic) and gentle/soft voice. I recommend Amanat for example. You can find this on his YT channel. Thank you😀again.

Amanat is so beautiful! I wish all those people who say Dimash "has no emotion" and "doesn't transmite anything" or "always shows off" would listen that song... :)
