As a Basque I have to say that the recipe is as simple as it looks. With this dessert, a small, tall mold is always better than one that is too flat. The detail of straining the cream before putting it in the oven reminds me of how my grandmother did it, using a hand strainer and a lot of patience. Congratulations

It came out perfect ! It was creamy and tender! The middle of cake is soft and gooey . I ATe whole cake in a day. Omg. ⚠️ I set the oven in 230 degrees for 22minutes. I thought the top of cake too much burnt. But I could taste real smoky flavor. Nice recipe thank you.

Cool your cake to room temperature before moving it to the refrigerator and you won’t have the condensation problem.
22minutes at 230C, it didn't cook nearly enough. Am I doing something wrong? Typically the cooking time is around 40-60min for this type of cake. Wonder what I'm missing.

Yeah for 6 inch 30min at 250C is usual to get burnt surface / still soft centre.
