RECIPE

Cake
Milk 40ml
Corn Oil 30ml
Cake Flour 55g
Egg Yolk 3
Egg White 3
Salt 0.1g
Lemon Juice 1g
Sugar 45g
Custard
Egg Yolk 2
Sugar 25g
Corn Starch 6g
Cake Flour 5g
Milk 170ml
Butter Butter 10g
Whipping Cream 70ml
▼Instructions
1. Add milk and corn oil to a bowl, beat until emulsified, sift in flour, add egg yolk
2. Add salt and lemon juice to egg whites, add sugar gradually, beat until stiff peaks
3. After mixing, add it to the squeeze bag, add it to the paper mold about 60-70% full
Baked at 130 degrees for 50 minutes, then 150 degrees for 15 minutes
4. Add egg yolk, sugar, corn flour and flour into the pot and stir well, then add milk
Cook on low heat until thick, add butter and stir, pour into a bowl and refrigerate for 1 hour
6. After refrigerating, whip the light cream, add it to the custard sauce one at a time, and squeeze it into the cake

@@arcaniumdragon2444I would add it to both, at least the vanilla. Chiffon cakes are notorious for tasting like eggs even when you add a little bit of vanilla. Because of that I double the amount a recipe will call for...

Did you use self raising flour or just normal flour?
I made this for my dad's birthday. He loved it. Said it's the best cake he's ever had. Super easy to make, delicious, not too sweet, not eggy at all (probably because of the lemon juice). Delightful to have the custard ooze out. I made the custard using 2tbsp custard powder, 25g sugar and 160ml milk and skipped the whipping cream. Will sure make this recipe again. Thanks for sharing. Love your quiet video with just sounds of tinkling utensils and rustling of ingredients.

Did you bake it for 50mins then 15mins like the recipe says? Seems like a very long baking time for such small cakes. Wouldn't the cakes be very dry?

@@bobbyc1302 yes I did follow the baking times as per video. It didn't burn at all, probably because the temperature is low and the cake cooks slowly.

@@amna8126 to me it didn't smell eggy at all. It think the lemon juice added, cuts out the smell.

I hate to be the one to point this out as there seem to be so many happy commenters, but a lava cake is a cake where it is baked so the interior is still viscous and is always served warm. These are filled cupcakes. That having been said, they look very pretty and delicious.

Yeah, seeing the filling being piped in after reading "lava" it was a bait and switch. Filled cupcakes are perfectly acceptable, but this isn't lava anything.
Love the recipie but really couldn't get over the Zero clock instrumental in the background 💜

Yummy 😋 LOVE these kinds of lave cakes! This is delicious and especially not too sweet, which I like. I am also going to try chocolate using Baker's Simi Sweet Chocolate. I hope you don't mind a few suggestions. I like to help sometimes and pass on my ideas. I am a baker and like to find/try new things. For the cake part, use pure chocolate flavoring and maybe 1-2 melted small squares from the bar, not big squares. Then, use a few melted small squares for the filling and a few drops of flavoring. Another is fruit flavors, and one of my favorites is strawberries. Same idea use pure flavorings and use preferably homemade preserves or store preserves. Also, use a little less sugar on these since they are already sweet. Any flavors can be used following her recipe style. Just play around with it. Thank you for sharing ❤️ ⚘️🌻🪷🌹

@@lynnle54 Oh dear God, stop. Being an asshat is way worse than being "lazy." I suggest you take a hard look at yourself if you think you're the better person. It's not "entitled" to ask for a printable recipe, especially since many, MANY people offer that. I guess cooks and chefs should never make cookbooks either, since people should just write all their recipes down.

@@user-ql4bf1qo9r в рецепте используется мука для торта, в состав которой уже входит разрыхлитель. Если использовать обычную муку, соответственно нужно добавить разрыхлитель и ничего не опадет🧁

I’m guessing he doubled or tripled the recipe, because I made exactly the recipe he gave and I only filled up 4 paper molds. So definitely recommend doubling the recipe if you want more then 4👍
