The Best Boxing Workout ~ That You're Not Doing *****

Спорт

OLD SCHOOL WORKOUTS ~ These training tools been around a very long time... I put these workouts on KZread in hopes that some young fighters would make use of them... I wonder am I the only ONE to recognize the value of these great workouts?
The Big Blue Bag, we call The Dingle Ball or Dingle Bag and the other Bag hanging off the 4x4 piece of lumber we call The Rounda World Bag ... Both these bags have been around for near a HUNDRED YEARS, but some how got lost over the many years... They can be seen in VERY OLD videos where Champions are training on them ...
I hope they make a BIG COMEBACK, because they are GREAT WORKOUTS that make a Fighter sharp***

Continued from my last comment, (I Accidentally hit the sent button before I finished what I was saying) So like i was saying, Alot of people don't know the importance of footwork, Leg placement, Hip rotation. Well regardless of how great you are with your fists, You won't be in that proper position for your fists to follow the path to its Target, It would be great if you made some videos of the lower half of your body, Or back up with the camera so people can see the important of proper full body Mechanics. Thanks again for you Videos... Ralph

*hey paul, i had a question about your outdoor gym setup there in hot humid florida. i have similar weather in hot humid bug infested texas, but i don't have a yard like yours. i live in a small old house with a tiny yard in the middle of an urban area. i want to set myself up too so i'm never regulated by the schedule of a gym. **_what's a good idea for bags that can survive the outdoors, and what can i do to minimize the noise from bag chains, etc?_** THANK YOU SO MUCH!!*

long-time listener , first-time caller * * * * * I have always tried to have at least one punching bag hanging everywhere I have lived... Sometimes it was not possible like an appartment and such. I have always wanted, as you said a place where it was convenient for me, not regulated by a schedule ! I take my bags in after workouts, done this all my life... My suggestion for the noise of the chains which I love, is to replace them with ropes or straps? ? ? I hope that helps ****** I sincerely Appreciate You * Paul D'

A quick really objective question here. What is that type of hinge you have screwed into the 4x4 for the Rounda Bag? If my local hardware store has it, I know what i'm making for my up coming birthday gift to myself, a new way to sweat! Very hard training where I am right now, limited to shadow boxing because I don't have any boxing equipment in this apartment, thought it'd be rude to my fellow tenants to ravage a speed or heavy bag. so I never installed any. A not so quick subjective question. If i'm limited to shadow boxing and bodyweight exercises, noise and vibrations though the floor joists (the building is old and wooden) shake near the entire floor, do you have any ideas of what a fellow could work on? I'v put a big mirror up and hung a piece of paper from the ceiling and have been snapping my jab to move it without touching it, been doing a lot of pivot /foot work in a 6x6 square area, cutting corners and creating angles of 15/45/90 in relation to the hanging paper. I can't help but feel there is some more I could do though. Head and shoulder movement is probably the easiest to do, tie a bunch of string across the room at nose height and bob/weave/slip around with the hands up, I figure it's okay to touch the string with my hands but not my face. Thanks for any input, you already give way more than anyone could ask for in your uploads, Proffesor.

BrokenBear * * * * * 5 Stars for all your great effort * The hinge you asked about is a Speed Bag Swivel ! kzread.info/dash/bejne/l36XmJuggtvMaKw.html Here is a link HOW TOO (DIY) of another of our videos. Shadow Boxing for me is the most important training a boxer can do when done to the max. Utilize the Shadow Box with your mirror and STUDY every Muscle which is involved in your body, much like a Body Builder would . Sometimes go in Slow Motion, when things look sharp, and near perfect, go faster... The Slow work is more of a Study, the fast work is more aerobic. I intend to do a Shadow Box Video in the near future .... The idea you have with the paper is a good one, but I would replace the paper with a piece of plastic much like you would have on a shower curtain ~ Guess where I got that idea ! Hit the plastic and pop it with open hands and finger tips... Thanks for Watching, and for the good questions... I got a bunch of videos posted already watch, and learn, but also listen and learn.. The crew who utilize here at the Jungle Camp (My good friends truly enjoy it cause it is not boring ! I have for the last many years been attempting to help revive it... A couple of the local gyms in my area now utilize it due to my promoting it... Same as the Dingle Ball Bag also seen in this video. They take a special set up . The Rounda Whirl Bag is an easy do it yourself. A few gyms around the country have told me they have built them and I have seen video of the Dingle Bag from gyms in Texas and California...
