For twice the price of a Phantom, I want my features, comfort and quality ratings to be an 11 out of 10.

Lagonda is a British luxury car brand established in 1906, which has been owned by Aston Martin since 1947. The trade-name has not had a continuous commercial existence, being dormant several times, most recently from 1995 to 2008 and 2010 to 2013.

I was constantly waiting for that million-dollar feature. Turns out it's just disturbingly overpriced.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I can't quite agree that the Lagonda is the most beautiful sedan ever. The matte paint job on this example makes it look cheap (similar paint seems to be common among the early 2000s Civics and Pontiacs that high schoolers park at the local Wawa late at night). The literally all-leather interior does look nice, though perhaps not $1 mill nice. For the experience of driving a four-door sedan with Aston Martin styling cues at a tiny fraction of the Taraf's sticker price, do what I do and drive a second-gen Ford Fusion.

Wtf I wouldn’t even give this car an 8/10 for styling Then again Doug likes the look of the 996, so 🤷🏻‍♂️

One of the most stunning sedans for sure. The Speedometer is in KMH and MPH simultaneously. Not worth a million dollars? Well, unless you just love the looks the authenticity, the brand, and the details. Its a lot better than many faceless cars, and some spend that money on eg tasteless sportscars,. It's a nice one to have, as a third car or such.

When you’re trying to be practical so you buy a fully optioned Rolls Royce Phantom instead 🤔

Isn't the Maybach 62 Landaulet the most expensive luxury sedan? When it was made it sold for $1.35million, which, due to inflation, would have been even more when your video was made. The Rolls Royce Boat Tail is around $20 million, but since there are only a few of those so they don't really count.

This is like a car straight out of GTA online, with its looks and it’s unnecessarily high price tag 😂

Ford directly stole the design of the Aston Martin Vantage when designing the Ford Fusion funnily enough. It’s sad to say Fords marketing ploy has worked as now people think Aston fucking Martin stole Fords Yee-Yee ass design.

They must have mistakenly added an extra zero to the price tag. ...and look, it's got an optional see through windscreen.

Those hydraulic lifter things fail very quickly, my DB9 doors don't even stay open at all

I loved the original as a kid, and these are even better. I know the designer, we used to compete against him in historic racing in the UK.

10/10 for styling is crazy

I thought the most expensive sedan was the 2012 Maybach Landaulet which was priced around $1,300,000 when it released. However you are correct the Lagonda is one of the most expensive sedans in the world. I do have to admit, this is one of my favorite sedans because of its appearance and how nice it is.

To those complaining about price, it's just a quick money grab from dumb oil money. Aston Martin made 1000% profit on every sale. They laughed at everyone who bought it which is why they didn't put their name on it.

It looks ugly and unfinished. for that money and you in a spirit to buy luxury, it is better to get a brabus mod or maybach, or an audi, or bentley. Honestly this looks off. The turn signal quarks exists in different brands. mercedes and audi and genesis have magnetic doors which make it stay at any open position. the entertainment system looks like a 2017 ipad stuck on the seats, again unstylish. and omg, look at the front infortaintment screen, oh dear god, you can get a better screen from a 10000 dollar toyota. the gauge cluster is old and not beautiful, you can get a better ash tray than that cheap tin from an aluminium soda can

The camera can't ever do the car justice.

Fun fact: the Aston 6.0 V12 is literally two Ford 3.0 V6s put together. The plain old Duratec found in older Escapes and Fusions.

One drives past where I am working in SW England each day, it is a very good looking car.

I'm definitely going to buy this car! If I ever manage to find one in a dealership.
