No way Mat. You have been a joy to watch. Lost interest in Air rifles a while ago but still tune in when you are on. Wish you all the best in the future and hopefully have your own channel?

I do like a wood stock on a rifle, almost ay rifle, but this one really caught my attention. Perhaps it's because all I've seen of FX air rifles has been a skeletonized metal stock, looking more like some sort of 'military' rifle than a sporting rifle. this one shown and featured by Mat here, appeals to me. Those Hikmicro sights really do turn night into day, with a much sharper image than I've seen before. Well, sad to see you leave here Mat, I think I started my subscription to 'theshootingshow, with you as the MC. I do wish you all good success in whatever you will be doing elsewhere. Thank you for all those past enjoyable videos. Richard Saunders and Andy Watkins have always made interesting videos, I'm a subscriber to their channels too so I'm glad that Richard will be here in a fortnight. All the best Mat!

Mate here's my likewise story . Ive watched from the very start and my daughter Holly ( who has absolutly no interest in shooting in any way shape or form ) was only 11 or 12 when the show started and after about a year or so she used to actually txt and remind me incase i had forgotten when the new episode was due on .

Good review matt, the tube night vision scopes are getting more popular I think the look of a traditional scope is more popular than a more compact one. I have the infiray TD50L on my WEIHRAUCH hw100bpk great combination, All the best Matt enjoyed all your shows, hopefully your at the Doncaster show over the weekend 👍

Blimey , I remember reading an article by mat in airgun world when he had just got his daystate mk 3 ,his first electronic trigger and valves, no screen or gauge , you just counted your shots back then , air rifles ( especially ) pcps have evolved into many different rifle types ,it bewildering sometimes when you first see a new to market super gun with sometimes 3 gauges , quick fill, adjustability that's mind boggling , if you are relatively new to PCP rifles don't assume more money equals a much better rifle , don't get me wrong I have owned quite a few silly priced 2 grand and over rifles , and they were amazing ( except my mk1 impact utter crap) however you can buy a second hand hw100 and it will perform just as well as a £2500 super rifle , if you can find a reputable gunshop who services their used stuff and gives a six month warranty I would seriously think about it ,you will thank yourself in the future , I know livens in Burton on Trent are reliable with their used gear , and staffs custom rifles are fantastic when it comes to looking after you and your rifle even if it's used ( Dave and Shirley are lovely ) Dave is a moody bugger sometimes but if you had his face I'm sure you would understand .

Sad that you are passing The Airgun Show on to Richard, but I reckon he will continue to do an excellent job. Hope to catch up with you at forthcoming shows. Pete in Essex.

@@tommyxbones5126 Well, in chile some animals are protected by the government, including pigeons that are pests.... but yeah the law here is stupid so i only have 1 family member that works on pests control and he invited me to a pigeon winerie but not sure if he is really going to go there

@@nothing-dk4dc I was just talking about rats - different countries have different guidelines for what pests can be controlled - in Canada for instance blackbirds used to be classed as pests because they destroyed the tobacco crops. Check out what you can hunt then look for the perfect nesting/feeding sites , before long you can hire yourself out 👍

Both are very good with super-crisp image day and night. The Hik has the edge though in terms of twilight mode clarity. And its £hundreds cheaper.
