There are ways to keep it fun and exciting without saying much of anything. It's the art of anticipation, but there's not enough room in this comment section to explain it. I know that doesn't help, but it basically consists of saying very little and looking at her in a way that conveys mystery. Like, "What is this guy gonna do with me? Make love to me? Show me something? Hurt me? I don't know yet but it's hot" The best part is you only have to do it a couple times and you'll instantly become an exciting guy in her mind. Just to know you're capable of making her feel that way is enough Guys think they should just be able to be themsleves and women should be happy, but unfortunately that's not how it works. At least not in the beginning. Their need for constant excitement will simmer down after a year or two, I promise. (unless she's young and stupid)

I find that some women want to skip the banter and flirting and go straight to the evaluation process. I'm trying to make it fun and light and they're trying to find out my resume. It's pretty annoying, because I'm basically fighting them for control of the direction of the date, and they're leading it to very boring places

9:19 yea, because that is not who she initially PERCEIVED you as. This is what happens with me a lot. Because I am in entertainment, I am perceived as the party guy, guy to have "fun" with. Not that they not having fun, but if you know what it means "fun". But in talking to me, they realize my head space is set straight, so they start to drift because they did not PERCEIVE me to be a "stable" guy and that is not what they initially got interested in me for.

No, it was what they call "social approval". You were taken , a big tell tale sign when a women CHOSE to be in a realationship with you is that is a HUGE sign towards other women that you are one of the good ones. So they already know that and therefore starting to test the waters, flirting with you etc it's sometimes soo innate its unconscious. And yes like you experienced the otherway is also true, when you are single its the opposite you lose that approval

Just be yourself. As long as you are not putting on a show she will see you as you trully are and she will see that you are constantly yourself. I got brutally dumped out of nowhere by this girl who had told me I was her soulmate. The relationship was amazing but apparently one night she was tired and I said “wel I’ll just leave you alone then”. I said that like earnestly. I’ll just give you space. 8:20 this is the part where a lot of men "fail". for women it's all about their perception and once that step is not taking to escalate, she will PERCEIVE the man as low value. Or, if she saw him as a guy that gets a lot of women but is "stuck" at that stage, that perception will start to change. Yeah well , also look at the tell tale signs during a date.. Few points what I seek are "is she flirting with/complimenting me', "is she asking a lot', and above all 'does she "accidentally" touching me" - especially the last one, if non of those happen (ofc she could be one of those shy one's) I don't escalate further .. Only reciprocate , if she touches me. I know when i lost her already so to speak.

Not all men will do anything with a girl just because she is “hot” to him. There are some men like sapiosexuals that actually turn down a girl who says stupid or offensive things and he sees her as less attractive in his eyes. Those men are extremely selective and more attractive to women than men who will chase any “hot” girl.

Hey Todd great breakdown as always. I have a question about congruence and your example of the party guy vs the stable guy. There's totally a world where party guy just did all his taxes and is really proud of himself for it and when a girl asks him what he was up to last weekend that just is the thing he did. Is there any way to convey that stable quality or is he truly locked into to whatever tiny little made up box she invents the day she meets him. Obviously any one thing can be fixed with a better frame and more empathy; but its a bigger question, its about being able to express the various dimensions of who you are, including at times our incongruences, and not feeling like we're on a tightrope

Usually, the real reason is she found another more attractive guy on her dating apps. That's what happened to me when the girl cancelled our third date two hours before the date, giving a BS reason and then later admitted she found another guy.

There's no such thing as a high caliber girl, everyone mingles within their social circle of shared values. Best thing a guy can do is just enjoy what he does, embrace the loneliness, and don't pay attention to how attractive a girl is, her beauty will absolutely do nothing for you past the first time you have sex with her. It's all a waste of time and energy.

She looses interest in you when and only when she has options. Point. Whatever you do, whoever you are, if she can reach better dudes then she dumps you. I think the part about missing phase progression is huge, and I think logistics issues can exacerbate this. If you live far from her, for instance. And then if she gives you an opportunity to progress and you don't, it can't taint or sink the seduction.

I almost feel like every conversation with a woman needs to hit different points, like a sales call, until there’s a breakthrough. If she doesn’t respond to the humor, then joke about yourself, if no response, than switch to your intelectual side, then try your empathetic side talking about your dog or your charity work, if no interest, then try business talk and success, maybe something spiritually inspiring, then maybe try something more sensual.
