    Very cool. At present, it seems that the latest version of fsd has the hope of conquering the traffic conditions in the center of New York. It is also a rainy night, which is really exciting. Already following you, I hope to see more of your follow-up New York road condition test videos

    Judging by your comments, FSDs is already a better driver. It made much better decisions than you suggested it should. But still nice to see a video in the NYC.

    Now THIS is interesting. I know that area of Manhattan well. This is an eye-opening video. It doesn't mean I would be willing to drop $12 large down for it as to me the use case for it is more associated with long distance driving. But regardless, this is an impressive display of capabilities. Thanks for the posting. John~

    This is the type of fsd video we want to see, not the same bs fsd driving on a cookie cutter suburban road with no one around. Keep making those videos in nyc, but why the cliff hanger, did fsd stop?

    It stopped for like a second or 2 then started moving. It appears to do this when getting very close to people on these versions. I think they are playing it safe in the start and may get better on future versions.

    It's like chatgpt 3, surprises everyone, soon after we got gpt 4 which is a much better model, the same thing will happen with fsd, it will progress aggressively, fsd 12.4 will be much better than 12.3.3. that's why elon is confident on model 2 fully autonomous. We are lucky to live in a generation having these kinds of innovations.

    No one expects it or AI to succeed anytime soon. So the stock price isn’t indicative of this. It’s awesome for a car company. Not at value for Tesla. Tbh, most who don’t know Tesla intimately don’t think they’ll achieve anything more than level 3… maybe. At least in my extremely anecdotal experience

    MOST PEOPLE DON'T... ...make turns a second or two after the red. I can"t speak for NY drivers but most London (UK) don't. Not even Swansea, a smaller but more vicious UK city for driving. It is not just a case of Tesla following the law, driving through red traffic lights is *moronic* and choosing to put others at risk. Sorry, but needs saying.

  • @louisPE

    @louisPE

    I hear you, but when you deal with the traffic here it can turn a patient person into doing things like that only if the road is clear for it of course. But yes tesla should always program FSD to follow the law.

    It malfunctioned at the end. It should not have stopped for a pedestrian J walking. And then it stalled and I assume the driver had to intervene. It’s cool technology. But not worth $200/mo. And it’s far from ready for robo taxi.

    @@philliptemple4534 i work here for many years and driven in manhattan for just as many... i know it's a lot of rectangular roads meaning 1 turn gets you to destination, but what's the point of showing a FSD video of such simplicity? again, i'm saying the beginning n end of your video are great, just the middle part (the longest part) is a bit plain and doesn't showcase as much FSD's ability to handle situations. Just a feedback. Still good job overall. Keep it up!

    If used responsibly, nope not irresponsible at all. It’s FSD (Supervised). The supervised is literally in its name. It’s kinda like driving with a student driver. And soon… who knows.
