Because Tesla is still very insecure on the road and makes a lot of mistakes, cannot integrate into dense traffic, cannot find a parking space autonomously, does not have online data on the speed limit, and so on. It is close to FSD, but still requires at least a few more years to study all the road scenarios.

@@Arron_Mottram Tesla is often more confident than a human. The parking is very easy for them to implement, they want to focus testing towards driving. It will park by either pulling to the side or going into a empty spot. But full end to end system will come with update.

The word “Robot” comes from the Greek word “Roboto” which means “forced labor”… whoever doesn’t agree that Tesla cars are robots should really consider what a robot actually is… this car is doing all the labor, no driving necessary, I love where the future is headed

actually it comes from the Czech word "Robota" which means "hard labour" as in greek. The first to introduce the word robot was Karel Čapek in his work "Rossum's Universal Robots" in 1921. (of course the word Robota in Czech comes from the greek word. However, whoever came up first with the word "robot" matters here, so it comes from Czech, not Greek). Fun fact, the word Robots was invented by his brother Josef, which was a painter. When Karel was writing R.U.R he didn't want to call them Automat or Artificial slaves, so he asked his brother what he thought of "Labori" (he was still uncertain about calling them this way). His brother stopped from painting and said "call them Robots then", and went back to his painting.

​@The_Screw_Up_Who_Grew_Up thats all that matters really. I like your forward thinking👌🏽. Technology is all about reducing the burden of labour on man, this has been the case since first IR..now we are in the 4th IR with the goal of automating intellectual labour.

I am so happy that we finally have fully autonomous cars. I like driving but its just nice to have fully capable FSD as an option and not just basic assistance systems (they are cool too).

Tesla FSD is slowly growing up to become the _COMPLETE PACKAGE_

Hmm.. my own chauffeur.. love it.

Think of all the millions of commuters travelling in heavy traffic to and from work everyday. What would this software be worth to them. This will be a game changer

Very few people realise that whenever 'takeovers' become very rare, you don't actually have to be in the car anymore. The car can just go do its own thing when you are sleeping. That is the true robotaxi.

Do you think Tesla’s cameras see clearer than most human at night? I have a difficult time driving at night because of the difference lights.

Everyone has a right to their own opinion. I for one am enjoying 12.3.6 and blown away by this technology and the accomplishments of man. It is exciting, terrifying, and wonderful all at the same time. To this commenter, never underestimate the ability of humans to adapt. Yes, there will be suffering at the hands of this technology AND at the same time, tremendous savings in lives due to safer mobility. Unfortunately or fortunately, it is the human condition to see a problem, fix it for the betterment of one class at the expense of another. Is it dystopian or just nature? Depends on where one sits. And that is the essence of right of opinion.

Can Model S and X switch the FSD view to the Big Screen and the Map to the small screen?

Love your videos, No 1 understands this technology is the future! 1 day when all cars have this tech it will make the roads so much easier and safer to navigate! All cars communicate to each other and 🎉 stoplight cars and phones will all help with safety and the network to predict what is going on around! Network connectivity / participation = safety

Hey @Whole Mars Catalog , have you ever asked Elon about a feature that lets you view other Teslas connected to your account on the map on screen and maybe even considering a feature that allows you to follow them on fsd as a good way for families with multiple cars to better stay connected. This would be astonishingly useful for my family.

Can you do a quick summary of important parts at the beginning of the video? Since most of the times it drives pretty good, it gets boring to just watch it drive. It's like watching a real driver.

In the first stage of delivery it almost went to the wrong side of incoming traffic. Thats an elementary mistake if the road coordinates had been mapped correctly. This should be a given in downtown NYC so the mistake can be attributed to coding. Long way to go still waiting for ever I suspect for full FSD

Ah ok. Mine too. Most intervention is to be courteous to other drivers. Let's hope that 12.4 is like what Musk says.

Number one it's not even remotely close to autonomous package delivery number two there's not zero interventions and number three it's still doesn't work correctly - flawed self driving😂😂😂😂😂

Note, you’re not doing Tesla any favors resting your right foot UNDER the brake pedal like that. It’s not very supervisory. It should be hovering OVER the brake pedal.

For all the Elon nut huggers out there tesla's going to be toast if solid-state batteries get put into other cars. The range is terrible especially on the model three and they have an upgraded any of their cars really in like eight years.
