I took out the FSD in light rain , cloudy day time conditions it gave me red alerts cautioning degraded Fsd, Can you try in rain & traffic also I know it doesn’t rain in sunny California:)

Was using the one month free FSD in April. Was initially good and everything, then two huge portholes about 4 inches deep on freeway were right straight ahead. Car with FSD on did not try whatsoever to steer clear of the big portholes. Resulted in bent front left rim. Tesla initially refused to fix for free. Only after going back and forth and advised the service center that I may take it to local News Station (which has a special edition to report consumers rights not being honored by unethical companies), then they honored the free rim replacement for my wife's Model 3 Performance. F Tesla. Vision only? I put tapes on two of the cameras, and the FSD had this message; "FSD not available" "Left repeater camera is blocked" "Right repeater camera is blocked". Forget it. I woke up already. Elon is a great sales man. So far, none OEM has taken bait for FSD licensing. Elon has said it since 11 months ago. So far, no bait yet. Keep hoping and keep hyping. FACT CHECK: Elon said in 2016 that "all tesla cars will be able to drive across country by themselves by next year [2017]". Hey, what years was that? 8 years ago. Man, you still believe him? Good luck. Hey, do yourself a favor, look at how the Chinese EV handle the 10x more complex road conditions in China.

So are still so many Tesla haters bashing FSD including many in the media who claim that FSD is a huge disappointment. Most of them have never driven a Tesla with FSD of they haven’t driven one in the past year since several major updates/improvements. The current version of FSD is full capable of meeting the standards off level 3 autonomy and getting very close to level 4.

I love it.. it's amazing. I wonder how many parts of the world this is possible though. US has such obvious modern 'blocks' road systems. I wonder would you be able to do this in London or Rome? Also, I didn't realise this was an extra cost.. and it's really expensive. $99 per month! Or $88,000 for full ongoing self-driving? That just seems way too much. Hopefully, as the tech becomes more commonplace, the cost will come down until it ultimately becomes free and a legal requirement.

Sensible (usefull) metrics for FSD testing: Do the same drive/s (incl time of day) every day for 1 week and record: Number of interventions (all), weather( cloud/rain/temp), Duration. One drive in heavy traffic, one drive v low traffic. That info would be good to see because it would be a more objective way of measuring how FSD is progressing. Many drives in traffic but no mention of undocumented trips. People want to know consistency not just good trips.

It’s not hands free yet which is a bummer - there needs to be some contact with the wheel, which is why you have your left knee bumping up against it. Great video nonetheless thanks for the useful content!

It’s a life changer yea it makes you broke. No one can afford 50k for a car that is not even all wheel drive and can’t be used in winter. Subaru Impreza is 25k awd.

If all vehicles were self-driving, drunk driving would become a thing of the past, traffic accidents/fatalities would diminish down to almost nothing, and car insurance would become super-cheap!

Omar, after 3 plus years of FSD testing my car still makes left or right turns on a straight green arrow traffic light which is a ticketed offence. Is this so insignificant to Tesla so they don’t need to address that? Also in dense traffic merging the car is incapable to make a good efficient choices, any improvements in 12.4.1 on that front? Thank you
