Love the chicken crossing! The self parking backing into the spot is priceless.
I've tried this a couple of times so far, and compared v11, version 12 is SO much more natural. There is a sense of competency/confidence that the system itself has now (not MY confidence in it, but how the system deals with the environment now). It was always sort of herky-jerky and indecisive before...but it's like a real driver behind the wheel now. It's going to be scary how good this system is going to be as it gets smarter. Great job Tesla engineers!
As someone who’s followed this journey closely ever since the early days… I got emotional watching this clip
Now do one where you highlight FSD (Supervised)'s mistakes. We want to get a real feel as to how far we are from L4 and x10 of our TSLAs.

Thanks Fazad best FSD clip yet. Loved it.
Thanks Farzad. I’ve been wanting a “best clips” style video for ages
2:50 no it didn't "autopark itself". It stopped. The driver then selected a parking spot and activated the self park feature. Still cool tho.
Farzy this was such a cool idea. My video ended up being here, that’s super cool! With FSD I look for reasons to go just about anywhere. It’s awesome, and my wife and I have a lot of fun with it. Thanks again Farz!
I’m still uneasy with self driving 🤣🤣
Pretty convincing, I can see how this already surpasses the average driver’s abilities. It’s rapidly becoming a moral hazard not to have this implemented everywhere.

Thank you for this Farzad!!
We are having multiple wow moments every day. Construction zones, even on an unmarked lane. The best was a failure on Monday - we returned on Tuesday and the car navigated perfectly. No idea how this happened. We've gone from terrified, to nervous to relaxed and loving it in a week.
Thanks for taking the time to compile this, as this makes it easy for us to promote FSD on our social media. 👍🏻
I'm in Seattle, there is no way for FSD to drive even on short trips with at least 5 disangments. It works great on highways or in suburban environment, but not in crazy streets of Seattle.
Thanks for tagging the video authors :), it would be cool too to see what city they're each testing in
Chickens, no way, I thought FSD killed small children? Dan O'Dowd will not be happy about this 😅
This is the future it is so amazing that we could experience this I was thinking only my kids will eventually experience this unique moment that will be so important step for safety on streets 🤯
@2:36 Why did the chickens cross the road!?!?!? They saw a _COMPUTER ON WHEELS_
Those chickens crossed less chaotically than most people I've seen.
Thanks for sharing Farzad. Us in the UK and Europe are sooo jealous of you guys being able to experience this incredible technological breakthrough. Its going to blow our minds when we get it. BTW bought more Tesla at the dip😊.
Nobody was Speechless 😂😂😂
FSD has left me speechless too but not in a good way.

FSD is worth the price of the stock....all the rest is just icing on the cake...Energy, Bots, Cars
Yes. Looking out for chickens is priceless! I live in a rural area and I’m hoping to see my car stop when a deer is in the road.
Just got FSD today! I had to intervene 3 times in the first 12 minutes. Still got a ways to go.
I was just thinking of this, like wham bam Tesla cam for fsd
These are all well and good, but V12.3.3 still misses simple things. Really simple things. On my last trip, FSD chose the wrong lane at a complicated exit (,the "Mixing Bowl" where I-95, I-395, and I-495 meet just south of Washington DC). On the next exit, it entered the exit at far too high a rate of speed and would not have negotiated the exit without driver intervention. Later, in the space of 1.5 miles on surface streets, it chose the wrong for upcoming turns 3 times (3 times in 1.5 miles!). In one case, it attempted to make the left turn anyway (from the thru lane), and would have pulled in front of right-of-way traffic without driver intervention. It continues to have lane selection issues, even when the intersection is clear and the lanes are clearly marked. This is the only situation where FSD reverts to the robotic wheel-jerk back-and-forth behavior. At stop signs when there is no cross traffic, FSD continues to be extra hesitant to cross the lanes or turn into the crossing lane. Also, when crossing or turning into the cross-traffic lane, FSD is super slow as it establishes itself and then "floors it ." Not unsafe, but not a pleasant driving experience, and very annoying for other drivers on the road. Driving a 2018 M3P with USS in the Washington DC metro area. Given the fact that FSD still can't do the simple stuff, it continues to be a more stressful experience than just driving myself. Trying to hang on to the idea that it will someday be at least minimally useful, but it's not yet there and it's not even close.
Amazing video to highlight their technology!
The "Chipotle!" was the perfect ending xD
It's weird how many people think "curbs" are called "curves".
Love the parking ,don’t have one yet ,but love to look
I had 6 segment drives today going to my two doctor appointments and haircut. All FSD drives were perfect. Also I auto parked twice. The car also stopped in a left lane to let a turning transit vehicle cross the road in front of us and enter a parking lot.
I fucking love them all.. thank you for this.

@@andyfeimsternfei8408 I'm not new to the machine at all. I'm just using a benchmark that was established by Musk in 2020. As "close" or "as good" as FSD may be now, it's still not what Musk was selling and saying would exist in 2020. That has to be the reference, IMO, Musk bet Tesla on FSD and FSD still isn't FSD. The engineering, anyone I think can appreciate. That's not the point at all. There's no way in hell Musk really thought FSD was happening in 2020. Everyone may disagree with my point, but that is what Musk bet the company on. Musk is on record as saying Tesla could sell their cars with zero margin because of FSD. Well, the margins are shrinking and FSD is not close to sales pitch. If you want, I 'll be happy to give you a youtube link. I'm well acquainted with Tesla; I've been following Tesla since the 1st big fail that Musk had when demoing Roadster 1 to Jay Leno. I will probably have a Tesla on order in a few days if my existing car sells, but I'm not paying anyone to be a data collector. Call it "supervised" is that makes people feel better. "It's new and improved" IMO, it's all just semantics. . When Musk says, the Feds are going to approve FSD for non-supervised autonomous driving pay attention. Until then everyone that has it, is basically paying to be a data collection agent.
Nice compilation - convincing - its coming!

Thank you. Helped me realize chatgpt or any ai is not 100%. With v12 I consider it Tesla's chatgpt moment.
While it has to be supervised one thing stands out. It has a constant 360 degree view that will be superior in place of a human head twisting. That is the reason for the diagonal lane change in the beginning. Get used to it changing lanes while traveling through intersections. It can do this with all the cameras as well. Have been a beta tester for over 2 years. Trust it for lane changes using the blinker. Works great. FSD has came a long way.
Great compilation! Also, these "speechless" drivers sure had a lot to say LOL!
pls make more of this kind of videos thx!
Different subject - what is the "Model 2" body going to be made of? They're not going to paint it and I don't think they're going to use stainless. I'm guessing some type of polymer with the color embedded in it, similar to the Canoo or the old Saturn vehicles. Your thoughts?
1:34 had NOTHING to do with the hand gestures. Tesla software does NOT recognize hand gestures. It went only because the pedestrian stopped moving...
I’d like to see how it copes with very narrow roads in the UK where there are only a few passing points.
FSD is already better than most people on the road, glad it gave way for the chickens though, sure there will be a few glitches to come in the future but looks awesome.
I like the chicken Crossing the road part
Sooo… you have more time for texting? 😂
Why did the chickens cross the road? Because FSD waited for them!
Good video 👍🙏😊
Mine stopped and waited for geese in the parking lot at work. They are slow and stupid. It even displayed them as dogs on the screen.
While I appreciate all the positive and confident statements on FSD, my own experience is not that good. I have a 2021 YP, and bought FSD back then for $10k. Definitely have NOT gotten my “money’s worth” yet. I’ve loved the highway mini-attention needed on two round trips CA to NJ, but “regular trips” around town or off the highways just doesn’t get it. Yet. Two days ago with V12.0, the car refused to enter the intersection because line of sight was terrible. Today, in heavy LA traffic, I had to stop it from trying to change lanes…just no advantage with traffic a mess for several miles, *AND* the lane changes were dangerous IMHO. Add to this my relatively aggressive driving style…so when *I* know it isn’t safe, I’m not applying grandma sentiment. As I said, I love love love the optimism, but I’m now thinking maybe mid-2025 for actual FSD not-so-Supervised. At best. (And I’m a MSEE-Digital/BS-CS with AI course back in 1972 - just for reference.)
Awesome!
Im on 12.3.3 and it still makes multiple mistakes a minute in the city. Seems okay for suburbs but I havent managed to drive in the city for longer than 2min without observing ridiculous behaviour. I think to reach true FSD in a real city you need a computer that recognizes all or most of non-driving related reality , because truly any kind of unique one-time event can occur on a street, and so many things will never make it into fsd training data, that the average human does have the ability to instantly recognize.

I'm from Seattle and FSD doesn't work on crazy streets we have here, plus directions are most of the time wrong as well. I guess this is work in progress...
Great episode. Thanks. I am starting to think it is becoming very tempting to set the stage purposely and see what FSD does .. throw a cardboard box out in front, have a person walk in the middle of the street and then jump out in front of you coming up, have a dog race across the road, have a truck drop a ladder off the back … someone should purposely create some edge cases!! What happens you start purposefully covering some of the cameras to simulate mud, purposefully covering the interior camera or purposefully do some weird hand body motions or abruptly open a car door … on and on … throw a bucket (like a splash) of water across the drivers’ windshield. Why not setup a competition to who comes up with the best crazy situation!! Challenge FSD on purpose!!! Why not put up a sign saying accident up ahead, take another route and see what FSD does .. the more ridiculous the better .. it’s time to have fun 😮😅 How will it react to sounds and gestures. Fire trucks … Will it pull over and let it pass. What if a car purposefully stops in front and puts hazard blinking lights on …. 🎉🎉🎉 It’s time to create the edge cases instead of waiting for them to happen.
If they can get NHTSA to allow for a rolling stop on stop signs, that would actually be safer. As of now, every time FSD stops for a stop sign, I feel like I would get rear ended.
awesome video. would love to see more of them. thanks a lot farzad

I really want to know: how does the Tesla choose a parking spot from all the options?!!!
chazman is legit.. next will probably 3 point turn or reverse and we are getting much closer to the ROBOTAXI level....
I expect getting a Tesla will be very similar to buying a 5G phone. You don’t necessarily want to subscribe to FSD immediately but you also don’t want a car without it. Tesla marketing needs to let people know that their "5G Moment" is here.
Do you think that the FSD could prevent more collisions with deer on the roads?
Why did the chicken cross the road? To see what FSD could be =P
this was a fantastic video, please do more like this!
i was at the stop sign and there was a car close but it was turning left and there is a car behind it. so i pressed the accelerator and the car made the left turn. got close to the other car enough to make them honk lol.
Just got FSD supervised and it works great. Freaky at first.Totally bizarre. Comes to full stop at stop sign and then accelerates quickly. Now on April 15hth I cash in my $7500 by dropping my tax bill! Just bought 2023 model 3 on December 29th.
So it looks like the march of nines is definitely getting done.
Yea but .. 0:15 . .that was illegal move. You have to go from lane to lane .. not go dashing through all of them at once.

First, it recognised person emerging from behind parked car. That she (pedestrian) stopped indicates self-preservation kicked in. FSD behaved impeccably. Yeah, hand gestures were irrelevant, that part is anthropomorphism, but fun. I can imagine in future AGI will interpret hand gestures, probably Optimus first.
