@@Mr.Dodo- that’s just not how our brain nor this technology works. As an analogue, I’m sure you heard about these tsunami warning probes they use out at sea in various parts of the world to be able to warn and evacuate the population before a tsunami arrives. Now would you be worried that these probes could *create* tsunamis just because they can detect them? Now I’m not saying humans couldn’t create such waves, a nuclear explosion for example likely could, but these detecting probes are entirely unrelated to that ability.

Sometimes genius just means having a very defined vision and pushing people to achieve it. Take Steve Jobs for example. Of course not, but he had a very clear vision to take many different existing technologies and fuse them together in such a way that changed all of our lives forever. Elon musk is a very driven capitalist. He has to be in order to be somewhat succesful at his level. So in order to fund his various projects, he acts unethically. Yes, he does lead a bunch of very interesting companies with his own money, but in order to do so, he lies, disregards the law, disregards the environmental effects of his companies, has to lobby politically, and has to atleast partly strategize against the wellbeing of some population some of the time.
