Different story with other channels with sponsorship of parts, tyres and vehicles. Absolutely no shame in not driving a vehicle off a cliff in doing gunshot - there’s more skill in driving to the tip of Cape York and back without breaking something! Well done mate 🍻

    Alex, great to see you on here every video mate...I am thinking down the track to add a stiffer set of springs which will inadvertently give the truck a lift but its not on my immediate to do list. You should be able to get a ford factory fox kit for the Everest now considering the new FX4 MAX ranger is coming out with a FOX kit, same chassis as an everest so you imagine it should be able to bolt in?.

    @@RoundTheFire I would think the Ranger and Everest would be universal. The problem I run into is the regular Rangers uses leaf springs and the Everest uses coil spring like the Raptor on the rear. Maybe even the Raptor rear coils are heavier duty than the Everest. Then again, the Everest coils has to carry its fat A$$ around so I dont know. I even sent emails to FOX and they wont help at all. Bilstein seems to be a good brand from my research. IF anyone has suggestions, please chime in. Its always good to see your vids.

    @@alexwolf8019 Ah you are right! i forgot the Everest is coil all round. Definitely Bilstein is a well respected brand. I have a set of Old Man Emu in my Prado 150 which gives it a 2in lift also, not a bad set of suspension also...definately not bilstein standard but heavy duty.

    G'day mate, thanks for your KZread clip, I can't wait to take the Ranger up there, thanks for the tip regarding the tub rack, I have ordered one, I m looking at getting a snorkel, for my Bi-Turbo Ranger and I am having trouble deciding on which one I should get, I see you have one of the new style on your Raptor, I have been told they are very noisey compared to the traditional type. how do you find the one you are running? I look forward to your feed back.

  • @RoundTheFire

    @RoundTheFire

    3 жыл бұрын

    G'day Bob, You are correct, the prefab stainless snorkels are far noisier than your traditional poly moulded style snorkels, in fact i would almost go as far as saying the polly snorkels don't make any real noise at all. I ended up getting the pre fab type due to that no one is making a polly snorkel for the raptor...I have never been a fan of the pre fab style and have always owned polly snorkels...After owning one now I can honestly say I have been impressed with the performance of the pre fab snorkels ability to limit the amount of dust, water and bugs that are ingested from the head of the snorkel which ultimately ends up in your main air filter. Ultimately both styles will achieve a higher air box feed, I think the pre fab does a better job at sucking clean air however is noisy (can't hear it if your window is up) Poly is traditional, you can get one anywhere and cheaper. hope this helps.
