Went to a Billy Joel concert at msg with my 12 year old son. We had floor seats but we were 30 plus rows out. Taylor and his wife sat next to us. Actually we all stood the whole time. I didn’t bother him other then at the end to say I’m huge fan. He shook my hand n my sons. Couldn’t have been any cooler and zero ego considering who he was. Always will remember that.

@@Scotty-P well I agree that drugs are not all insightful, they ruin lives all the time but you're essentially judging the man based on that and I find it pretty naïve and disrespectful, especially seeing as he's just died.

Vividly remember this episode. The humor is what made him stand out in my memory after all this time. Just googled to see where the funeral will be and with everything being so recent, we still don’t know where his final resting place will be.
